Normally after own it would have been my turns, but no problem.
madv.: learned this the hard way in a COTM. I captured a city and after the second turn it flipped losing two armies. Since then I even do not pull an army for healing in a captured city until the civ is gone. I think we will get another MGL soon with the lot of fighting we do, so it will not be that bad. Have you started the Heroic Epic before losing the army ?

The idea was to fill the army with fully healed MW and attack farther while the other units quell resistance and hopefully prevent Paris from flipping.

next time simply burn it to the ground. But we have to build a new offensive force first.

I think we should not burn it to the ground. Quell the resistance without an army , starve it down and park 2 or 3 units beside it to take it back if it flips another time. There cannot be too many French cities left.

I'm looking at the save right now and i noticed that we haven't made much progress on the French.
AND the russians took the land...

Madviking: During my turns the French sent their troops to Leipzig most of the time.
The way for the reinforcements is quite long now, so I wanted to build up a bigger attack force. We now have about 20 MWs in position to strike France. This should be enough to do some damage and hold the front until new reinforcements will be available. I would not raze the French cities as the Russians will claim that land fast. You can also wait to bring some settlers, but in my opinion this would take too long. The way is too long.
