I played up to 1480 then accidentally over-wrote the temp save I was playing from so I'm gonna hafta skip this round to avoid a replay.

It's very difficult to go across the map in not totally friendly territory, so for me it's Qin, then Asoka (easy!) then Kublai (hard!) then Mao then Gengis.Hm.. Guys, I need some advice here...
As cabert says, we have to start our conquering pretty soon. If we can get to 2 rivals left this turnset, we are good to go. So, my question is:
After Qin is toast (and he MUST be the next), what should we do? The "natural" choice here was either Kublai, the score leader, or Asoka, his vassal. So, the options are:
- both of them OR
- ride across Kublai's land and attack Mao and Genghis after him.
The former needs less time, but lots of units. The latter needs less units (for Mao, at least) but lots of time. What would you guys do?
Same for me. 20, 25 turns would be enough to give my wife something to be angry about, but not enough to go all the way to divorceI know I'm free this round, and I'm playing just for fun. But, for my marriage's "life", I have a request: could we do a little shorter turnsets from the next on? There will be a lot of renaissance and modern war.. This takes a while.. Say... 25 or 30 turns max? Pleeeeeeeeeeeease?![]()

you have only the name of the save here![]()
Hello all,
I'm hearing that 40 turns per round is too long at this point in the game, and am happy to pull it back to 25 (or even less if the group feels), but given two players have already played to 1650AD, unless they are prepared to 'do a do-over', then I think that it's only fair that at least for this round it should be 40 (1650AD).
Sorry - but I'm having to start to get stricter with the rules.![]()

I'm happy to consider extending the round for a week if that is popular.
What's the group verdict on that?
