No music just for me? Or in general?

Doesn't seem to be too impressive, but let's see how much gold it is ;)

Canal districts do not remove features. So I guess you can work canal tiles.

can a land unit and a water unit occupy the same square at the same time? I don't remember seeing this.

youtube version? Sound isn't working for me with twitter

We know from a tooltip yesterday that Trade Route yields increase based on "landmarks" that they pass through such as canals, tunnels, and such (in addition to the old trade depots). So the Panama Canal probably uses that to count how many trade routes pass through it.

@DJ_Tanner yes

The return of the Friday Wonder video!

I really like the Wonders whose bonus is based on where they're located, and am glad to see this one added to that list. Will be frustrating though, I fear, to those who fume now about the AI's choice of Wonder locations (Petra, for example).

I think it should of been able to build on hills too considering the massive locks the real one has.

I was surprised it was flat land only too. One of the things that makes it so Wonderous is that it has significant altitude change over its course. That's more impressive than its length.

Ah finally something new to drop while I was asleep

Maybe we can give Teddy something to do with building canals?

Still annoyed to think we get a prolonged scene with a pope or doge in the trailer, and we get canal districts, but still no Venetian Republic or Italy. What a tease.

If a land unit and naval unit both occupy a tile, and you attack one, what will happen?

They have always been able to : )

The naval unit gets attacked. Just like in Vanilla.
