Completely exit from the Steam client.
Go to the folder Users/[username]/Library/Application Support/Steam
Delete all of the files in this folder except for SteamApps.
Restart your computer.
Launch Steam and re-test the issue.
I was sort of hoping the Steam-cloud would be cross-platform too, so I could pick up a game I'd started on my laptop, and finish it on my Mac. It's still a completely different set of saves, is there anyway to get the same cloud cross-platform?
