Still persued by angry barbies, perhaps an ambush of my own.
 
It's a shame this does not have the Change Player Details available in Civ 4.

When confronted with F4 icons for the other tribes,
I have to think very hard which one is which....

Third town settled, focussing on unvet archers to ward off the men in white coats...
 
We lose a 2nd scout in a barb ambush. I don't think we will bother training anymore scouts, it's warriors from now on for exploring.

We appear to have left the barbies at the riverside. Feeling increasingly cornered.
 
A couple of Mongol settlers go searching for good sites for new cities.

A Mongol warrior attacks and destroys a barb camp, looting 25 gold. This allows the Mongols to increase their rate of Tech. research by running a deficit.

My Archer spies a Hun encampment on a mountain
 
The barbs are swarming out of the mountains and heading for my cities. They are starting to annoy me.

The dance of death with the Huns begins, they spread out along the mountain tops.
 
In our continuing skirmishes with the barbs a Mongol warrior receives a promotion to veteran status.

Quite an eventful turn, our archer got all brave and attcked the Hun encampment successfully. Money in the bank.
Then a tech trade with the Celts netted a worker and 29 gold. Hello to economic warfare Ottoman style!
 
A Mongol warrior being chased by two barbs stumbles across the border of an unknown civ. Hopefully we will make contact next turn.
