OK, so my island gets no baa-baa villages to conquer.
That I was living with.
But now, two separate bands of barbarian horse archers appear to the south, and heading for our least defended towns.
My axemen are so promoted I no longer bother to check the odds against the axemen and swords that come visiting.
Now I need spears, I guess.

It looks like I am going to have to populate my entire island to stop these annoying baa-baa attacks.

My economy is in the toilet in this game. My lands do not support commerce. I was lucky enough to get a great merchant which allowed me to run my research so high for a while....but that is about to end.

After receiving DogBoy's email I set about playing Iota.
All was ok, until I saved it.
The save file already existed.

Went back to check, and I hadn't copied the new files to the folders.
More to the point, I had replayed an entire sequence without recognising it from 24 hours previously.....
I shall be getting to bed earlier from now on...
