Leve it in the PTW scenarios folder. Then open conquest. NOT PTW. Then go to civ content, scroll down and it should appear. I play it all the time I have have never owned PTW.

I was considering giving him an actual "brush crest" or whatever it is that legionaries wore. I also wanted to give him a cape, but then he would have no power source for his weapons and such....

Please Give Us The Conquest Version Of This Superb Mod!!!

I am right now configuring an optimal setup for OpenFX, so I can start mass producing units to my specifications. Once I finish the infantry line for all five races, (autocyon 100%, Cyborg 100%, mutant 50%, clone and human 0% complete). Then perhaps a couple more buildings, which could take 1 day each. In a couple of months... no more.

Thats semi good news. But in a couple more months I will be back in school. :( BTW are you gonna start a new thread for it?

Some of the new Conquests features would help you make the mod better, like using the slavery flag as "mind control" or something. My Computer is currently down(using my dads as I type this message), so I won't be able to try Pentagensis for alittle while :cry: . But I will try this mod when the problem is fixed.

Capturing is going to be used alot....

I hope to find a way to make defensive cruise missiles... for land mines. Perhaps immobile, maintenance free and without the disband option.

But also some of the "illegal" weapons, like the clone masker creates a clone called a chameleon, that is a weaker, hidden nationality, invisible, immobile version. Essentially making the defeated unit into a "zombie", in the same vein as mind control.

The "illegal" autocyon (robot) Omega Weapon makes invisible, immobile weaker versions called chrono weapons, which are additional strikes by them in the future.

There are a few more exciting tricks that will be implemented. The AI will be able to use them. I am thinking of scrapping resources in the 3rd and fourth era, and requiring "manufactured" resources for more technologically advanced units. It is quite possible, and quite usable by the AI.

Any type building being able to produce a unit was a godsend for creativity.

Ok how do you do this? Put it in the C3C scenarios folder? or do you create A PTW folder?

If you have C3C loaded, you should have a Civ3PTW folder. It loads with Conquests. ;)

Although, I do not see why you couldn't put pentigensis in the Conquest scenarios folder and make it work.

I figured that out about an hour or so after I posted the original msg :) I've only had the game a couple days, so I haven't fully explored the directory(s) yet.

Screenshot of the terrain of Planet Sona Prime. It's high amount of Copper salts, as well as an orbit around the green star Sona, gives it a greenish hue. It's strange gravity and alkalide water also make for large crystal fields called krystalis (was jungle, white-bluish), and Aqurystalis (was marsh, partially submerged krystalis). Also the deserts are giant copper salt flats called Cupricia (cyan fields).

The Oceans are purple mostly to sulfuric salt algaes.

FINALLY Some alien terrain! You've got to tell me your secret Neomega! Some things I need for future mods are Alien terrain types, yours would do nicely if the ground was light blue and the crystals pink. Another idea for yet another alien world would be to substitute Forest for giant fungi(Mushirooms), and have green water, and light tan colored land tiles.

Good to see you still working on this btw...

Hey, first of all, I just want to thank you for making a great mod but I have a few questions.

In the industrialization era, all the arrows connecting the techs disappear. Some of the techs do have prerequisites but they are not shown. Why is this? Also, in this age, you can research techs in almost any order you want so you can very quickly get to Bolt Tanks which are 26/16 compared to the previous best unit of 8/8 - it's a bit of a jump. Is this intentional?

I've noticed with Bolt Tanks, when they fortify, purple bands appear across them which looks kind of strange. The tech required for them is Megacloaking so I'm thinking the purple is supposed to be transparent. Am I right? If so, why does it show up purple on mine? If not, what is the purple supposed to represent?

Many of the units which require later tech seem to be worse than what you previously have. Like with Miragetics, you get the Omega Weapon which is 6/2 with a bombard of 4 but you already have KAAS units which are much better. Is there some ability that is has that's not included in the description? I've noticed a few abilities missing from descriptions, e.g. jump suits and power armour don't say they act like paratroopers.

There's one particular unit that's graphics don't quite fit with it's abilities. The crawler is this huge thing (which looks fantastic by the way) but it's only 6/6 even though it dwarfs most units.

Speaking of the crawler, I have all the resources required of the crawler but am unable to build it. Is it restricted to specific factions?

I know I seem to be complaining a lot but I really do like the mod - I wouldn't be here suggesting these things if I didn't. I just want to make it even better :)

In all honesty, this mod is a year old... and when I released it, it was very poorly balanced beyond the second age (Explansion). Do you have conquests? If so, in a month or so come back to cfc and get a much, much much, MUCH better version of this mod.

The Bolt Tank's animations are supposed to portray it's kinetic alloy armor system. (KAAS) The color bands are actually civ-colored. You will also find the OmegaRAV has a similar animation during fortifying.

The crawler is the UU for "The Level". I'll go ahead and bump it up in the upcoming conquests version, and make it more powerful.
I didn't make it... Level (real name Lehi Jenks) did. He had to go to school or something, and said he wouldn't be making any more units for a few years... (about two years ago).

Unfortunately not but I'm thinking of getting it purely because there's so many mods that require it. It was the same with Medieval: Total War - I wasn't going to buy the expansion but there were so many mods that I wanted to play that I got it purely because of that.

Sorry, did I compliment the only unit you didn't make? lol I liked the other ones too, just that one looked really impressive. Though it's probably too big because you can't see all of it when it's fighting because it's obscured by the opposing unit.

yeah it is a little large. I mention in the civilopedia if someone else made the unit. In this version, the ugliest units are probaly mine, since it was my first shot at 3d modeling.
