People with strong beliefs scare me

But the big important things, like Capitalism vs. Communism, the existence of God vs. the non-existence of God, the presence of absolute truth in the universe, those are things that dramatically affect both who you are, how you see things and what you do with your life.

How can you not develop strong beliefs?

I could care less about the existence of god and still continue with my daily tasks. That wouldn't make me any less or more of a person. Absolute truth really doesn't affect me either. But maybe I'm just blind to this, please give examples of how it could.

How can you just sit there, living, and wasting this precious mind that is meant to judge and determine the ultimate meaning of the human condition? How can you see a problem and not immediately need to come up with a solution?
Because I don't give a rats ass :coffee:

If there is no absolute truth then there is no right or wrong. Just think about that: If I can rob you and take all your money, why shouldn't I? Now I wouldn't, because A) It's wrong, and B) Because the cops would bust me. But with A), there being a right and wrong gone, we're left only with B), the cops busting me if I steal stuff. Basically now all we have is might makes right. Are the cops strong enough to arrest me, or am I strong enough to evade arrest? If I am, why shouldn't I do whatever I want to? And so forth. So whether there is absolute truth in the universe on which to base right and wrong (And laws and society) is very important not only to how you live your life, but how society is governed and where it is going.
