After the many discussions of Steam-related DRM, I have decided to make a poll as a petition to Firaxis to increase the DRM in Civilization 5 to change this:
Amend the Forced-Internet to Install (poll choice #2)
- into -
Non-invasive required internet to install, play, and uninstall that is user friendly (poll choice #1)
--------
Information:
Petition is to continue using Steam as the excellent platform it is, but the new method (choice #1) can bring many new features and protections not currently available in the old way they are currently providing.
The reason is simple, we as a whole need to help Firaxis and 2K's abilities to protect themselves from the evil 2nd hand market and from paranoid pirates.
Also, on a side note, many of the users that regularly attack and bury members here (that have any issue with Steam) have stated that they are 100% pro Internet requirements... therefore this petition should get some Yes votes. I hope everyone else follows their lead.
This is the wave of the future, so you should embrace it now; and fight for it! Sign the Petition to expand consumers rights!
Moderator Action: This threads purpose is to Troll the other forums, so I am closing it and giving you an infraction
