I have to tell everyone to keep things fair.
George accidentally gifted me a city. He dint even know it. I accepted the trade due to teh other thigns in it were agreed upon. There is no advantage gained by either side ..if anythign George lost culture. I will gift it tomorrow.. I dont have time ot get into pitboss at this time.(getting kids ready for bed and school)

just a question...dave and it bears as to how I think Sigma should be dealth with.

IF someone told you this...honestly their vote shouldnt count..they are using the rules to suit there own agenda.
When Sigma was a non-issue some turns ago..no one cared but now things have changed and people want to change things to get an advantage..even if its dishonest. If someone told Dave please step forward.

I can't remember who it was but they were Arabia and couldn't continue so they got kicked and the AI put in. Sigma hasn't said he couldn't so i don't know.
The choice leaving his civ unattended or giving the AI control is difficult as both are not good options, because both can be exploited by others to shift the balance of the game.
Since a choice has to be made, i would go for giving the AI control as it gives everyone a chance to exploit the situation were as leaving it unattended only gives those around him the chance to exploit the situation.

I'm the one that it'll probably hurt the most. I PM'ed him and email him a few days ago and told him that he wasn't living up to an existing treaty that we had by not logging in, so I decided to attack him. Whether you kick him to an AI or leave him be, he'll likely be a 0 point AI in about 10 turns (or less).

Here's another curveball for you to ponder.
I really wish we could hear from him to see if he's coming back or not. If he's not coming back, perhaps someone not currently in the game could stage a coup and take over his civ.
Such an action may well result in a major shift in diplomacy. I can imagine it now, a new leader appears on the scene and suddenly a dozen or so others have an urgent need to make contact. Some to see if old alliances will hold, others to find out if a new trading partner is available...

We didnt allow Matrix to take Egypt. Some deal different circumstances. Besides Dave..if I move you may have to play for me for a week or so...

I personally wouldn't have a problem with it, i like my diplomacy and all the wheeling and dealing. The problem is given current event sigma wont be around for long enough for someone to do that.
