Ok, I'm now a believer.
Hussars ability to push you around can really disrupt your defensive formations and Polish willingness to impact themselves to wound your unit instead of running away really hurts. Plus, Poland in this game is running away and rexxing like mad so I dow'd him.
Then I swear i see him chuckle abit when I dow'd him.
Plus he was attempting to conquer Genoa anyways, about few turns later... bam, hussars came out of hiding in great numbers.
If it wasn't for two cities I forward settled to stop his instant REX, plus Genoa's location I Think I would be fighting in my first four cities already.
I have like 5 or more units with march promo, in medieval era. Yeah, well its now renaissance but damn, that's alot of marchs on medieval units.
Poland gave up on trying to extract tribute from me in Industrial Era so both of us have peace now.
Now I know for sure that Poland is right up there with Hiawatha, if he goes to war, he doesn't just send 10 units and hope for the best, he sends 100+.
