Although I can guess at what you mean by creation, it's still a legitimate question - what do you mean by creation? God? aliens? Dr. Colossus?

Are creation and evolution mutually exclusive? Does creation imply a 6,000 year old universe? Can creation apply to the story of Po and the chicken who laid the egg of the world, or are we confined to Judeo-Christian creation?

I'm sure evolution occurred. Whether first life was created, or evolution "giuded" as creation is possible, but not provable.

Anyone see The Onion's spoof story about how Christian fundamentalists in the U.S. had decided to declare the second law of thermodynamics invalid on religious grounds, and some were considering repealing the law of gravity? Knee-slapper.

Evolutionists do it, why can't fundamentalists? :satan: ;)

Hmmm... don't know... perhaps an eternal world that has always existed and never really changes... I think the old greek had such a theory

Materialism.

I challenge any religious zealots out there to step up and present us all with the theory how thier "god" created us...

In a serious manner, no psalms please, and no quotes from some religious book.

I want someone to explain the adam & eve story with scinece.

Then tell us all why evolution theory is invalid.

We're waiting....

Science has already told us that the BigBang originated from a point of infinite density & Zero volume.

If you keep removing volume from the universe till you get Zero volume, you get......... nothing.

So if the universe came out of nothing, something must have created it.

Hence why we believe in a creator.

I dont like being called a zealot.

That's totally wrong!!
The Big bang didn't occur in a point of zero volume. It occured everywhere in the universe.
Since the universe is in expansion, if it started from a single point, then it has limits ( (speed of light) *(age of the universe) ), and the universe cannot have limits, that would be totally illogical. there cannot be a wall or something on the edge of the universe.

Jacques, what I mean is that the universe came into existance from a point with zero volume.

That combined with the fact that if the universe had just a little more mass, it would have already collapsed in on it'self & if the mass wasn't enough, then the universe would carry on expaning forever & eventually freeze.

I dont know the details about it man, maybe you could me help out.

That's just the way I understand it so far  .

Haw! So can the easter bunny!

I respect your opinion, Spyguy. But even though the evolution theory is open to discussion (like any other) it does carry more water than the theories put forward by some religious fundamentalists.

And BigBirdZ28,

I don't recall using you an example of a "zealot". so back off.

I'm still waiting for a valid god-creation theory...

Loser. Im still waiting to hear your theory. How can you say that when you go outside this was all created by chance? You know someday you will be in hell and I wont care. Have you ever heard of a ittle thing called the limitations of sceince. You talk of relioion being fear. Did you ever consider that evolution was fear itself? An attempt of man to hide from their creator?

Spyguy,

The first sign of being a LOSER is when you resort to using the sad rantings above.

By that, you are the loser. You obviously have rejected science, since you cant spell the word.

And, I have already laid down my law to FL2.

I merely gave my opinion about evolution. Not an attack on your precious and obselete theology.

Go take a cold shower, boy.

Your Z28 is going down in flames, Birdy.

I made no mention of you in my past posts.

So go back to arguing with those who will rise to it.
I don't react well to aggression from total strangers...

...even fundamentalists in Z28s.

My fellow fanatics...

Before the entire christian world mobilises for atomic war.

I want to set something straight.

What I want to hear is a level-headed theory on how "god" "created" us.

I want to see if anyone of you can make it sound convincing to the casual observer (me, for example)

I am not out to blow huge holes in anyone's heart-felt beliefs.

So thats what I want...A good creation theory. is it so terrible?

You all know the evolution theory, I didn't write it, I find it more convincing, that's all.

I am merely interested in the other poster's opinions!

So disarm the nuke, Spycatcher!

I am waiting with interest.

:goodjob:
