Also subnational armies could possibly appear. For example terrorist-drug-illegal operation groups can sometimes hire people to fight for them in an irregular force that could prove daunting for police to take on. Although I believe armies, navies, and airforces will clash in the future.

Well Western Europe and Central Europe are at peace for now for now which has happened before, however the Balkans are still quite a warzone. The areas constituting the former Soviet Union are in danger of more warfare, behold Chechnya. Even if a region unifies that does not stop supranational warfare and/or other, new types of warfare from appearing.

The past 4000+ years of human "civilization" have been full of war, violence, and oppression. I doubt we'll see an end to that anytime soon.
