Post Romanum PBEM

1. GPS means turn sent.
2. I received this offer and You will get answer in next move.
3. Gentleman agreement: Make turn once and send it to next player.

Rd13,

Please ask all the questions you want!

1. It's like Pacoenes said. GPS stands for "Got it, Played it, Sent it"

2. You are right, there is no "trade in progress" but the offer is there once you send the proposal. And it does not remove the resources from your availability so if you are not careful you might offer the same resource to two different nations!

3. It's not in the houserules but there is an implicit agreement of "no reload" in Multiplayer games.

Thanks for the replys, guys.

It would be nice, as Luthor already mentioned, if there would be updates on whos got the turn. A message into this forum from the player who sent the turn, or who recieved it, perhaps.. It would help to plan ahead, and maybe also see if its stuck somewhere.

So.. whos got the turn :) ?

It's a good question, Rd13...

It would be really usefull if people wrote here after sending the file...

Hello!

So, let's recapitulate... The last time Clovis I, King of the Franks, played was on 24th Nov. I hope that General Olaf got the turn after that.

Hi Rodrigo.

Guys, one turn in 10 days. With such speed and holiday breaks game will last at least 10 years. Please make turns faster and write gps after each turn to let us know where is the stop.

@Rodrigo: Yeah, I played and sent it on ages ago.

EDIT: No wait! I do have it. Playing now, sorry.

Scenario is from 500AD.
You can kill who you want :).

Exchange of technology. Here is something incorrect. On the forum is written: no tech brokering ( I've noticed it now) but in game this option is allowed. I sent proposition of exchange to You first turn.

If we don't want tech exchange this option should be deactivated from the start. Now we have got few options:

1. Start the game again and deactivate exchange
2. Give everybody 2-3 turns to exchange techs and after this time make agreement not to do it but AI players could exchange
3. Allow to do it.

I thought it was the same. Let's wait for our admin - Luthor. In all pbems I've played there were two options. Tech trading: yes or no.

Hi.

Rd13 is maybe correct. Rd13's first sentence might be confusing (typo?) but the second sentence is correct (So you can trade tech's that you research yourself).

The setup is as follows:
- Tech Trading: YES. You are allowed so you can sell any tech that you have discovered yourself.
- Tech Brokering: NO. This means you can not sell techs that you got from other people.

For me is clear and this is what is in the setup so I'd propose to keep going with the current setup. I've changed the 1st page to make it clearer.
