lol if you're going to use a world map, I'll be all the NPCs too to make life easier for you :p

If you're going to use a European map, I'll come into Europe lol.

As for the name, lol scrap an American civ if I've got to create a different name, cos I'd have to go further south to the Aztecs and Incas to find a good ancient culture...

Perhaps instead I'll go towards China or Africa - need to read through to see what's taken there...

Nemesis

How about just keeping your nation name "America" instead of US?

EDIT: An updated map. we need some north african and mroe asian players.

Nope!

I'm Japan, Azale is China, and Blackheart is Vietnam.

Nope!

Slider goes from 0 to 6.

slider from 0 to 5 with a total of 6 positions

Hmmmm, it says "Goes from 0 to five", but then later says "slide it to the right to 4, 5, or 6". Which one is right?

Nation: Uralians
Capital City/Location: Prestroia/The Ural Mountains
Militaristic - Peaceful: 1
Commercial - Industrial: 4
Religious - Secular: 2
Army - Navy: 1
Freedom - Authoritarian: 4

Is America fair play or not? If it isn't I'll stick with the Uralians, if they're open I'll go with the Apache.

Nation: Apache
Capital City/Location: Geronimoso/New Mexico
Militaristic - Peaceful: 1
Commercial - Industrial: 4
Religious - Secular: 1
Army - Navy: 1
Freedom - Authoritarian: 4

Good. Adjusted all my stats accordingly.

Heer Zhason, you seem to have misplaced my nation. I said SLIGHTLY northeast from Bristol, basically I want to be in that central area you placed under barbarians. ;)

Nation: Sumatra
Capital City/Location: Palembang
Militaristic - Peaceful: 2
Commercial - Industrial*: 3
Religious - Secular: 5
Army - Navy: 4
Freedom - Authoritarian: 4

Right on, we have some east asian players!

EDIT: right das, I will fix it. I tried doing it north of bristol, didnt do east tho, lol.

Well, how is everything going so far?

Btw - I would want a correct estimation of the American Threat, so... are they going to be on par with the Old World? I.e. horses, cattle, iron? Or just like in OTL? Or halfway? IMHO its better to give them horses and so forth to make it more fair and interesting, not to mention that it will allow you to have all the fun you want with Mongol-imitations in the Great Plains. The problem with that, apart from realism, is that the Americans might try to discover us - and that will mean a wide-scale exchange of diseases.

not that many diseases came from the new world that werent in the extream enviroments, like the dense jungle, merelly because human populations couldnt easilly get around and migrate in the new world as easilyl as in the old; though you shoudl read the book "Guns, Germs, and Steel" to get a bettert bearing on it.

Note that dense jungles are still there. Syphilis will still devastate the Old World whilst smallpox will still wreck havoc on the New one.

I will get around to it at some point. Need to finish "The Proud Tower" though...

I'm the orange thing? Yes, fine.
