Immaculate@ Could you expand on what the Order of the Brothers Battle does? I do not see much of them under religion and just wondered under what Religious organization it falls under... such as Orthodoxy, etc... and what the Brothers Battle does differently from other religious sects. Thanks.

EDIT: I do not see Archbishop General Judy Sleeping in any of the houses, who did she come from and to what house does she owe her loyalty to?

This order of warrior monks is the most elite fighting forces in the Known Worlds, surpassing even the Emperor's Phoenix Guard in martial prowess. Originally chartered to protect pilgrims and pursue heretics, the order is now petitioned by noble houses, other Church sects, and even guilds to perform military operations on many worlds, including the infamous Stigmata Front against the dreaded Symbiot invaders. Despite rumors of heresy and usury within their ranks, everyone wants a Brother Battle monk by their side in times of trouble. Though technically bound to obey the directives of the Patriarch Barbatos, some worry that the Brother Battle are gaining too much power as they accumulate lands on frontier worlds where barbarians and heretics remain a threat.
The Brothers Battle are the most recently formed sect, having arisen only at the end of the Grand Republic as the church became more and more involved, once-again, the military affairs of man, although many of their scriptures and popular liturgy can be directly traced to the ‘Cult of Fortune’ of old and their patron saint, Baelious, is thought to have been worshiped as a god in the ancient times.
The Brothers battle are often recruited from the population of ‘House Eekin’s’ serfs and freemen and many are toweringly large blond-haired and blond-bearded men of cunning martial prowess.
Their favoured saint is “St. Baleious”.
Okay, importantly, they are WARRIOR monks. None of the other factions are so dedicated to war and combat as this sect is.

The orthodoxy are very political and have an armed wing while the Brothers Battle see themselves entirely as the armed wing and their political component as a necessary but hated impediment to their true calling. Imagine like Sohei or Paladins or something like that. I don’t know if that helps you very much.

She is unaffiliated with the noble houses. She is probably a serf of the Brothers Battle or a E2 freewoman. You don’t know exactly. Her loyalty is to the Brothers Battle. She has dedicated her life to leading the Brothers against the Symbiots.

*Breeding= involves training in all aspects of warfare, membership into the Brothers Battle, and learning military tactics and strategy. Thus creating the Ultimate Leaders.

The Body of the House
A policy which centralizes the power of the house, making all holdings more subordinate to the central Authority of the house. this will be done by improving the infrastructure within our holdings, connecting them more tightly with each other, allowing for a greater amount of communication and trade, thus maximizing efficiency of the bureaucracy and optimizing tax.

Which houses are in charge of the eye/Garrison/fleet until the next election?

Currently Michelos van Hersula of House Holy Gate is 'acting regent' to provide some semblance of leadership. Until a real regent can be elected, he's the closest you have to ultimate leadership. His position is purely an emergency measure and he will be replaced (or not?) depending on your votes for turn 1.

Embra of House Klorin is commander of the Imperial fleet.

Garik Harnoth of House Hyppean is commander of the Imperial garrison.

Jyut Texier of House Texier is commander of the Imperial eye.

Policy: Cathrinn Naprous will take the lead in instituting a policy to recruit the most capable, and only the most capable freemen, from the large pool of loose manpower on E2. In particular people with technical and combat abilities will be selected, though very highly intelligent uneducated freemen are also given a chance. It's not absolutely necessary, but there's a big bonus to being single as it avoids family entanglements from recruiting and we prefer to profile a fitting spouse for them among other intelligent and healthy men and women.

Ragel Naprous will work out a deal with the Authority on dikes and drainage projects, the other houses have been very generous with ideas, but due to the continually rising levels of water he supposes any solutions of adaptation will be impermanent as the land continues to return to the sea. He'll be responsible for negotiating the price of their contract. Ragel will also try to hammer out a defensive alliance with them.
He will nominate and throw his scepter in favor of Dain Kawalen of House Klorin.
