I voted three. Obama's useless, the recession is only going to get worse, environmental predictions continue to underestimate damage & no one gives a damn. As mentioned the inevitable unsustainability of using oil & coal looms & there's very little going on on the highest levels of power that gives me much hope.

For me hopefully a much better year than 2011 though which has been a pretty depressing year for me (with my only silver lining being I still have my health & my daughter is also fairly healthy & happy).

Ah. That makes more sense. (Not in the sense that I view the Pope as the anti-Christ - far from it - but in the sense that there are people who believe that.) Thanks for the explanation.

Considering that the Bible says that no man knows the time of Jesus coming back, so I would have thought it was obvious.

I watched a BBC documentary speculating the Christ didn't actually die on the cross but escaped after the crucifixion. So rather than "coming back to life" he was alive the whole time & rather than returning from the dead again he meant he'd return to his disciples sometime that lifetime.

Just a theory of course.

Perhaps, but believing in the Rapture in the first place suggests general disregard for Biblically sound eschatology.
