@VRWC- You're a Romney-supporter, how can you complain about moderateism?

Not VR, but the position Romney's currently staked out is to the right of George Bush (Jr and Sr), not to mention McCain, Huckabee, and most of the various 2000 and 2008 Republican candidates.

And if Jeb Bush somehow won the Republican nomination, he'd wind up adopting very similar ideological positions, relatively moderate Florida record notwithstanding.

In this particular case there is a definite family heritage involved. George W. Bush's ideology didn't just come from nothing. He comes from a long line of ideologues who favor serving the few instead of the many. Having Jeb Bush become President is among the worst choices our country could possibly make.

It may seem unfair, but having your brother being George W. Bush is a definite handicap no matter what your own record in governing happens to be.
