Press build preview

Not sure if I got everything, but I managed to grab a list up to level 10 for Hatshepsut in this post.
Oh, then we can have multiple components from a single level so there are more than 10 components. Thank you!

From a recent video (I won’t name the channel, since I’m assuming he accidentally broke embargo by showing Napoleon. Did we know the details of this Leader ability already?

Can someone remind me when the review embargo ends again?

Does anyone here think there will be another round of YouTuber influencer videos before the official embargo? I could see some utility in showing off the Modern Age, again without the editorializing of a “review”.

Potato’s video, for example, ran almost 1.5 hours and he never even reached Exploration.
Semi-related, but I think Firaxis have said there’ll be one more Dev stream. Maybe in the latest Steam update? If I had to guess, either multiplayer or Victory focused.

Civ7's official website already explains their abilities with enough clarity, although without the exact numbers: https://civilization.2k.com/civ-vii/2k-account-benefits/

In that regard, showing Napoleon is the least of this channel's concerns. Fredericks, Himikos, and Jose Rizal are.

Do we know what both of Frederick’s personas are called? I know one is Oblique or something?
Oblique is Militaristic/Scientific. The other persona is called Baroque. My guess is that persona is Cultural and Diplomatic.

I was watching the Raptor youtuber war short video.
I do not understand how the custom/advanced game start works. You get some assets in turn 1 to be placed on map? As He had 4 settlements in turn 1 and in turn 2 he was seeing whole map too and spain had also several settlements.

Sidenote: Raptor does not seem very good player and did not understand promotions or why he could not move after unpacking etc…But like he said, he was still having fun. That is the beautiful thing in this game. With proper settings these games can be played unoptimally and have lots of fun in the process.

They showed how advanced start works in one of the dev streams. It works similar to how the Age transition does, where you are allocated some points and you can spend them on cards that give you extra cities, more units, etc.

I watched to Q&As in retrospect and hoed that someone would have asked about advanced starts and how the work, but sadly, no one did.

Though I remain optimistic it does feel like everyone who has said their opinions in their supposedly non-review vids have been quite negative so far

People who break rules on early reviews usually do it with negative ones for views
In JumboPixel's latest video, he is using Legions to fight Augustus Caesar.
Especially from Civ V/VI's (the games i played) Rome having the yellow on purple, I always associated that with swarms of Legions fighting under Rome. Having Legions fight Augustus Caesar's yellow on purple units is very offputting.

I have tried warming up to these Civ/Leader combinations but I don't know if I will ever warm up to that!
of all the duplicate Civ matchups to complain about Rome vs Rome is truly an odd one given that their national pastime was having a civil war 😆

It's time to pick Quintillus and Gordian I as the next Roman leaders...

I would agree if these videos were clickbait, but I think these are just people who aren’t really feeling the game in its current state.

We won’t have Civ 8 for another ten years, so if they are removed from the Firaxis press list because they broke embargo, that may be ok with them, especially if they aren’t really interested in covering games they aren’t fans of. There is a delicate balance here, and some YouTubers might prefer to be honest with their audience rather than continue to secure early access to Civ 7 DLC.

What has been the favorite preview video you have watched so far? There are quite a lot and I don't have time to watch them all :)
