Kirov class battlecruiser for the russians? Its got 100mm armour on the hull which beats the 3inches on US warships, and its enormous. 827ft long, 28,000tons.
Im sure some will disagree that the t-34 is better for Russia.

As you can see its quite the impressive looking ship.

I read some more on the Aegis system. Theres a lot to it than just a constant scan.
Its seems to be a computer controlled tracking system for airborne targets. some systems can track as many as 100 targets at a time. these targets seem to include aircraft, missiles, and even ballistic missiles.
I guess its actually would be a good idea to have a separate unit for Aegis cruisers that have a high chance of interception. So now ive answered my own question.

I've already made T-34 as UU for USSR.

Watched out some site in Internet and found a lot of info. I found UUs for Brazil/Argentina, Saudi Arabia/Egypt, Spain...

Anyone got any ideas what to do for the american UU? America could have the Supercarrier (Nimitz class), which would represent its air power. Maybe the Apache or Comanche helicopters. Maybe a dolphin spy unit that can sabotage ships as well as water improvements. You could even give america the stealth fighter, unless you thought the stealth bomber was more unique to the US.
Its hard to give america a better jet fighter than everyone else when Russia has developed planes like the MiG-29 and Su-27. American and Isreali fighters seem to dominate the air when fighting the MiGs of arab nations, but I attribute that to better training, or maybe better sensors. America's advantage in warfare since ww2 seems to be in sensors. Russia has some very advanced subs, but US subs are said to have better sonar equipment. The F-14 tomcat was a big advance air power because of its radar and target tracking.
America's nightfighting ability, along with advanced radar, is hard to put in a civ game.
