86 Multiple Social Pages are here! :) 10 new Government Ideologies implemented. Known Issue: Branches are out of order, and you may or may not see policies policies appearing under the wrong branch. Expected to be fixed in the next day or so. Until then, test away!
87 Policy culture cost lowered. It won't be immediately apparent, but over time you should find yourself with more policies than usual(pre-governments) Let me know if it is enough, too much, or not enough.

Maybe this is dumb to ask, but did you delete V8?

I've tried v9 with v8 installed and without.

Decimatus, I've installed your Terrain file and it has solved an important problem - that of the long production times. Thanks. I think I am starting to get somewhere.

I've just deleted both V8 and V9 from my copy of Civ5. Then I downloaded a fresh copy of V9 from the mirror listed on page 1 of this thread. I changed the extension to .7z and unpacked it using WinRAR. Then I copied and pasted the whole folder to my MODS folder. Then I overwrote the Terrain.xml file as instructed.

Below are two screenshots. The first is of the first turn. I've been asked to select a technology. The second is of the tech tree. All five of the separate tech trees appear in this way.

Perhaps I ought to pack up my computer and return it to the manufacturer?

Hey D still have invisible boats; they show on resorces but that's it.

Also, the governments page still has vanilla names if you hover by the branch name (tradition, piety, etc).
 
1. Missing Galley icon, missing Cog unit.
2. Liberalism=>Globalization is x50% not +50% strategic resources. So you get SRs halved instead of increased by 50%.
3. Leader title txts are gone, Government txts are gone in the Anarchy warning message.


Have you thought of changing the machinegunner icon to that of a WW1 water-cooled/air cooled Browning one to better fit with late industrial period? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M1917_Browning_machine_gun

Delete all versions of this MOD and only install version 9, do not install version 8 as well. Those pictures looks like you are using two MODs that are in conflict with each other over tech tree changes.

Not at all. It's good that we flesh out the problems here in case another player has the same issues. It's all part of the testing :)
 
OK, now that I've stopped breaking the game, I've started to play and it's going OK. I have another question if that isn't too much of a chore. I've just acquired enough culture to do a social policy. The window's appeared with five policies. The bottom two - the religions - don't do anything when I click on them. Should this be the case? The third one in the list has what appears to be some missing text when I click on it. Screenshot attached.

Yes this is how it is, at the moment only governments and government ideologies have been added, the others will be coming when D has time :)
 
I found out that the Cog and Galleon icons are no longer in all of the unitportraits files. I also forgot that Cog goes obsolete with Navigation so its not missing.

but the pollution is used on civ5? and can affect the terrain around cities like it does before (was on civ4 if i'm right or possible on ctp i'm not sure long time not playing those especially civ 4 ^^)?

what about radioactivity? (if any^^)

I havnt seen anything resembling pollution from Civ 4 in the game and ive been almost past modern era. I also havnt seen radiation yet either.

There is fallout around an area where you drop an atomic bomb or shoot a nuclear missile.

I don't think the government ideologies are done yet, but don't quote me on that. I haven't tried the latest version yet.
 
ok so testing the governement ideologies it's work like decimatus said some still vanilla because i put on the text again fr_FR and some text are the vanilla one but possible only text i just take a look at them and only gain 14 culuture point for choose 2 so i can't really said it's giving the right binus or not.
but very good work it's start working :)
effectively arnachy it's the last one on teh page but when you put the mouse over it (without clicking) it's said another ideology on the green text i see you can choose two sub-directory directly too without choosing the base on one of them .

hmmm i will post some screenshot tomorrow for clarify that a bit more time to go to bed now

1 I wonder what happened to those icons. I will have to look for them after work.

3 I noticed this yet forgot about it when I uploaded. FiresForever, you know what might be causing it?

I have thought of lots of art for the units, I just need the art. :p Also need some time to get the art working, as there is some unit models out there that I would like to implement into the mod.

Pollution is not in the game. Might add it someday if I am able, but that is a long way off.

And sourceforge died. Use the alternate download link found in the original post.

Communism and socialism should be compatible. The policies say in their help text what they are not compatible with.

Yeah the title of the branch isn't necessarily matching with the policies found within. This should be fixed soon.
 
I just Dl'd it, but have to spend some time with the Missus, so I havnt been in the game as much as I wanted. I did like what I saw in the 10min I played from the new stuff. I also noticed that strange title thing was going to ask about it, but someone else already did.

Yeah I wasn't sure whether I wanted to upload a version with that issue or wait a day or two until it is fixed. I decided that it was playable, and that it would be better to give you guys some more days testing the stability of the multi-social pages mod.

I tried fixing it myself, but only made it halfway. Somehow fixed the top but no the bottom... It isn't even the lua that is tripping me up, but the UI xml. Missing 1 key variable in there somewhere. :p
