What's your favourite affinity? Could good advertising persuade you to change your mind?

I think what the affinities need is some good propaganda to recruit for the cause.

I completely suck as an artist, but this is the kind of thing I have in mind





So, my question is, what's your idea for the best recruiting slogan for your favourite affinity?

If we get a bunch of good ideas we could have a poll for the best, and maybe create some artwork.

I think these are very good. Especially like the Harmony one - it is very propagandist in that it presents something very controversial in a white washed way.

For Purity, most stuff from Warhammer 40k would probably work.

Supremacy: "Flesh is weak. Join the mechanical legion!"

Harmony: Faster, stronger, better. Be on top of the food chain! Be the hive!

Purity: for terra and humanity slay the xeno! Preserve the race!

I think you've nailed it with the Harmony slogan, I don't think anyone could do better. I am less convinced by the other two, though.

For Purity, it's a bit too jokingly-Starship-Troopers. I would go with something a bit more serious, like:

Humankind needs you! -or- Earth is gone, Humankind prevails (or just the second half).

Or, in a darker tone:

Strength through Unity.


Supremacy is harder... there is a religious undertone to the affinity, and they aggressively push the notion of "freedom", so probably exploit that:

Be enlightened. Be saved. Be free.

EDIT: I like the notion of "saving the race" for Purity.

For Supremacy, how about, " The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." (credit to The Bible)

Or perhaps, "Look at you: a pathetic creature of meat and bone, panting and sweating. How can you challenge a perfect, immortal machine?" (paraphrasing SHODAN there)

Heck, there's a lot you could mine for all three affinities from System Shock 2.

Not to say I'm firmly attached to the Purity affinity, but here's a bit "tongue in the cheek" slogan for it:

"Keeping Humanity
Pristine,
