Anyway, since I haven't been struck by anything unusual since that moment till now, I conclude that at least one of the following must be true:
1. God cannot hear my thoughts and therefore is not omni-scient.
2. God refused to answer my request (even though answering it with a simple strike would make me much more convinced of His presence).
3. God has not the power to even strike me with something decent.
4. God doesn't care.
5. I wasn't sincere in my request (although I assure you I was).
6. God does not understand English

Also, being as great as God is surely he must know that making His existence unquestionable would create a whole lot more believers from respect alone.

Thousands of years people believed in gods, but didn't believe that the Message of (the christian) God was true.
In 33AD people witnessed Jesus performed miracles, but they still didn't believe He was God.
People have said that would believe in God if He showed them a miracle for ages, but many miracles have happened, and nobody became a believer because of these miracles.

I say it again, it's about the message.

I was sincerely seeking to reach Him, and got no reply.

The message is: we, people are broken. He can remake us.
If you believe that message, and tell God that you are indeed broken, and you ask Him to repair you, He will answer.
But not by striking or what so ever.

The thing is, as long as you want to be your own god, he cannot be your god.
Why should He show himself to you if you're not going to accept him as your god anyway?

Can you name me even one person who would defy an all powerful God thing that could do anything without so much as a thought? The only reason I can think of to defy such an entity would be that this entity had serious moral issues (ala evil). Why should God refuse to make Himself known if He is as believers claim He is? If it truly is about the message why do non-believers supposedly go to Hell for denying Him?

There really are times when the concept of a forgiving and almighty God makes no sense.

Who proved that JC was the son of God? JC did that for himself? What a proof!!! I can claim that for myself, you know.

Interesting also in the way it is setup, as well. Jesus/trinity are Us all & Allah being as one, as Allah is God in a simpler form, but still equated to the old Testament when God says to Moses I Am what I Am. That statement in a simple explination being God is Existence, or more specifically, the "I" of Existence. As you will find with God, all these things tie neatly into one another, prooving very quickly God's word in the Qur'an when It states the Oneness of Humanity within the Oneness of God. This also greatly simplifies the trinity. I realize my words are incomplete, but I would love the see how this is digested first.

The saying God is in the Details has been represented. The only thing wrong with being an atheist is that you are wrong.

I didnt misunderstand, but instead took it in another way intentionally. I think others will see the post in a different light. As I know God, I do not feel a compulsion to proove It's existence, rather simply sharing. The title of the post was intended tongue in cheek, as I disected a city name that appears in Civilization.

Solarknight: There are indeed many different beliefs and upon understanding the faiths you will see how they are in agreement rather than against one another as far as the word is concerned. It is interpretation, personal belief, and motivation that causes mortal disagreement. Also, belief is subject to being Right and Wrong. You can believe in something that is false by choice and ignorance. This said, Atheism is good for us all. It causes many peoples to seek understanding through empirical manners which creates for us a greater understanding of ourselves and existence. Again, my statement there is nothing wrong with being an Atheist, except that you are wrong. By believing that God does not exist, you are wrong, but certainly it is within your right to be wrong.
