I have this file in the My Music folder. What is it? When I open it with Windows Media Player, it doesn't work. Can I just delete it? It's a small file but it's annoying to have a file there that you don't know what it does!

Also any audiophiles here who recommend what ripping method to use to rip music from CDs? I am thinking of using Windows Media Audio Variable Bit Rate but am not sure if I should go with the Best Quality (240kpbs to 355kpbs) or one notch below it (135kpbs to 215kpbs). I have about 40 CDs I want to rip. My new hard drive is over 200GBs :)

it's just a windows media player playlist. it porpably doesn't work anymore because you don't have the original sound-file anymore. you can delete it...
