So I repeat, why not put a freeze on new members? If they are just gonna jump in to cause trouble...

All new members are not causing problems, therefore we should not stop new members from signing up. I think there should be an IP scan pretty soon to make sure that these new users signing up aren't DL's. And if we do put a freeze on new members for fear of a DL attack, the freeze shouldn't last long.

my facts are few- I only know why one, of the -possabley- two people who called them in is, why they were called in, and based on a few recent threads in various forums, what they are here for. It is in my opinion, that the information should be released, but if it prooves unsubstantiated, well... you can see the logic in waiting...

yup- I pointed one out early today to Col, which was a incarnation of an earlyer one closed by Col... strange things are afoot here at CFC... bad things- it seems- but whith perserverence they will end- if these are all of the root in which I, and another, suspect

This is what I was referring to. I made my own thread as a 'retaliation' on one. I am glad I was not banned, but would understand if I had been.

I do not know if this is connected to what Xen is referring to or not?

AFAIK this forum gets around 20-30 new members each day, and maybe 3 of them causes trouble. Refusing new members would be a bad idea, in my opinion.

I also noticed that a couple of these trollers in fact registered here some time ago..

no, it seems it isnt on new information, from another veteran poster , but still... either current mods need to scrutinize more closelly, or more mods must be made ir seems...

Still, 3 days for the HARDMAN/MIG21 dude sounds pretty mild.. If he is in fact a real DL of HARDMAN/MIG21, he should be permabanned (as his DL's are)
