Hmmm.... I'd ask in his thread about this. This is really more a question for him than a 'how-to'. Sure, anyone who uses the editor can tell you how to do it, but without being familiar with the mod I don't want to tell you to do something and screw ya up.

Nvm, no more need for reply, i finally found out the problem. It turns out the Req. support box was check thus meaning it could be produced in cities. It was a good thing this was an early bug or else i woulda been in the middle of a 15 hour game only to have to restart it because of a bug like this.

I have two quick questions:

1. If a city is razed automatically, do you still get a rep hit for razing it?

2. How do you know when you have a rep hit?

Do the Viking Beserkers get the ability to attack from their ships, like a marine? I have never played with or against them up until now and I'm pretty sure I saw them attack as unloading. I actually had gallions gauring the coastline to stop such a thing from happening except directly out from the city.

If that is the case I may choose those for my next epic

I was wondering if there is a file or site where I can see what turn I am on. For example, year 4000 bc is turn 1, 3950 bc is turn 2 etc. I know the first 80 turns, but not the rest.

Yes! The F8 key (at least in c3c) will tell you what turn you are on and how many turns are left. If you don't have this feature in your version, then you can go to the editor and go to the scenario screen. It tells you how many turns are at 50, 40, 20 etc. years.

THIS is the answer you're looking for!

For ANY version of Civ, check out SirPleb's Date/Score Calculator.........Indispensable for a High-Scoring game :)

Yes, although I am not sure if it is as severe as some other hits.
2. How do you know when you have a rep hit?
When you try to make a deal with another civ, and you try to offer them "X" Gold per turn. Even if they were happy with the deal before, and you just throw in some GPT as a "sweetener", if your rep is bad, they will suddenly say "No way! We would be insulted by such a deal!"

At what tech am I able to irrigate without being adjacent to other irrigation or water squares?

Question: What does "milking" game mean? Not to make wars and making sure your citizens are happy with lots of luxuries, etc..?

What does "IIRC" mean?

If I recall Correctly

Milking is to continue a game that you already could have won in order to maximize score. Instead of aiming at a time bonus for scoring early, you maximize the number of happy citizens.

How can you tell when another country has spies working in yours? Is there any way to tell which one? What can you do about it?

When you've tried to insert an agent in another country and failed, does this mean that subsequent attempts to do so are less likely to succeed? How serious a hit to your rep does this (capture of your spy) entail?

If a spy mission has failed, it'll automatically fail again that turn. You can expose enemy spies through the "expose enemy spy" option. You can only expose spies of the civilization you've got a spy with. I've never seen this succeed though.

I've never found a way, but you could try doing an 'expose spy' mission. Although sometimes that triggers a war when you don't want one.

If you try a spy mission and fail, you'll have to wait four or five turns before trying again. Turns between those, they will fail. Consider it the AI having a more alert counter-espionage agency working.
