The whole test seems mainly focused on **maxing a specific task**; real-world usage isn't anything of the sort. In the real world I'm running Steam, Chrome, iTunes/Spotify, Mail, iCal, and Preview in the background pretty much constantly, along with other sporadic programs like Word or Excel or maybe a video game. Doing this usually uses somewhere around 5 gigs of RAM, so 4GB is *not* a comfortable spot.
