Could someone make a topic with all these abbreviations explained? I'm quite new here, and my english is not so good, and I can't understand many of these shortcuts like OCC, DoW, etc. I think such a glossary could help new members a lot. I think it would be nice to include there basic things like UA, MP and others.

Not a mod; click on the scroll icon next to the minimap (lower right corner). Then check the "Show resource icon" or something similar. You can also show hexes in this menu.c

Now my question to everyone:

Which map types does "random map" choose from? Is it only Pangea, Continents and Archipelago? Even if I go in "Advanced Setup" ?

I very much doubt that it's possible. As far as I know the Mac and PC versions aren't even on the same patch.

I have a stupid question. How do I play a scenario I downloaded via mod browser?

I go into MODS, I enable the scenario mod only, then I go to single player and there are only "Set up game" and "load game". Can some1 help me?

How do I play with the same map I get in a previous game and start in the same spawn position? When I save map and start a new game with that map, I don't get the same spawn point, and maybe the same map.

It was not possible as of December, 2010 (or if it was I couldn't get it working), but I do not know if recent patches have fixed this. Sorry.

Mac-Windows play is NOT possible, though it is an ongoing goal. Only the same versions may play against each other, and even when the Mac version has intermittently caught up, its version number had an appended "a" to tell the two not to try to connect.

after enabling the scenario go to Mods->Custom Game-> and then follow the instructions given to you by the scenario creator. You may have to pick the map of the scenario from the list of given maps.
Post some screenshots so people can help better.

I don't get updates on air intercept missions.

It looks like my fighter intercepted and shot down a bomber from the graphics, but there was no message indicating anything happened. (it happened twice, and I really looked for it, so I don't think I missed anything)

Is this a bug? Is there a setting to change this? Or is air combat not on your turn just a mystery? Thanks!

On the list of resources I see that I am for instance using all of my 10 Aluminum items. Is there a way to find out which units/buildings are using my resources? Thanks!

I dont have "Custom game" in "MODS" menu..
Only Set Up Game (when I can't choose the scenario map and Load Game..
