They do plan around different victories, but none of them require super unique playstyle to achieve.

Hi is there a map editor for Vox?

I wanted to make a map but realised I can't use the map editor with mods :(

IGE works fine with VP. Don't bother placing resources near you, the monopoly aspect will be lost...

As for making a map your self, err idk, I'm not a modder. Planet Simulator and ynaemp v24 works fine though.

Just what can I do if I have no iron? I wanna have a good run as England, iron is gonna be an absolute must for my UU

I don't imagine that the AI will be willing to trade it away

The 4/21 AI will trade it away, but you won't be able to afford it. When playing with England and finding no iron within range, I remind myself that i won't need it for the UU for a long time, and scout for iron offshore. A large supply is almost always available, if you make settling there a priority.

Then it's not the full Vox without the monopolies and the extra luxury types :(

How do people make maps for this mod?

Look for a city state that have it and befriend it.

Or gather all your horse units and siege and take iron from whomever happens to have it closer.

You can usually buy it from some civ for a high price, use the iron you've bought to capture a few cities with iron and eventually sustain your own army.
You can even attack the guy who traded you assuming you can do the war without healing your iron-units.

Does Organized Religion not affect Zealtory? If it doesn't, isn't that a bit unfair to those who pick up Zealtory? Especially given how you can't use it to purchase the land units unlocked by completing the Authority branch.

One thing I never really thought of before so I will ask, do wonder function the same in a puppet city as they do a regular one?

Depends on a wonder. +% unit production for example is wasted because puppets don't produce units.

Is there a way to decimate enemy population? I don't like to go for domination on a huge map as I'm really lazy on keeping track of a hundred plus turns war, so I just bombard the closest cities of the civ brave enough to dow me and wait for a white peace. Is there a way to kill enemy population without taking and razing their cities? Without using nukes ofc, nuclear warfare is just tedious. Would really like to take away enemy war capacity semi-permanently since in VP the AI can swarm you until you remove them from the game.

You could have units stand on all the tiles that produce food so the city starves

Simplest thing is to pillage everything. Kill their units too (trade routes, workers if you can, anything), so they have to spend resources on military and not in infrastructure. This is what we call a crippling war. Do this as often as you can against your aggressive neighbour. You could steal tiles with a citadel. And what CrazyG suggests works, sure, but I don't think you want to commit your whole army to this for several turns.

Get a big warscore(60+). Pillage tiles, and leave them with some military and wait. They will have a huge penalty for growth(as remember up to 50%) and to production. So u can just wait with such warscore as long as u can.

Spain question:

Given Spain's UA, what happens if they somehow miss Founding a religion? I was hoping to convert them to mine but their UA prevents it.
