Quick Questions / Quick Answers

What are the most war monger setup?
I got Zulu, Celts, Aztecs, Persia, Huns, Rome in the same game, (Poland and Polynesia was the last 2 civs, one extra civ).
I missed out on Greece, are there any other warmonger civs?

(Zulu just declared on the Huns)

Mongols & Songhai could be added to your list. And your home country is a warmonger in VP!

Yes, I guess a few more could have been added, vikings brrr.
But DAMN Celts are a tough nut to crack.
Their pictish warriors are crazy tanky and they're spewing out a LOT of units (after previously rolling over Poland).
Compare that to the Aztects that just folded to a minor push.
I'm getting quite a bit ahead in tech now so I think I'll be able to crack her soon.

In my opinion, the strongest warmongers are denmark and sweden.
As denmark, the yields from plundering are insane. And they increase with every era and every additional city.
If you create an empire of puppet cities, your policy cost didnt raise but the culture from yelling stone increase more and more.
And with sweden you can have +80% attack modifier, if you stack a imperialismn improved general on one of your Carolus UU. Insane.

Is there a way to modify the value used to determine if its possible to do a Pledge to Protect action? The top 60% limitation combined with the technology minus to the supply cap makes playing the MSF civilization mod near impossible since it is reliant on the mechanic in order to not fall behind.

Carolus are a bit late however and Sweden never impressed so far in my games.
Haven't had Denmark that often and not played them myself yet but I've seen they do scary stuff in others games.

i've only play huge map with 22 civ and 43 cs, the most fearsome enemy is Denmark in my last game, but most stable threat in almost every games is zulu (maybe because they're usually have good start location?).

I have a question now, please help me with some line of code to add more base happy to CS. In my last game, when i liberate some CS with 40+ pop, they usually spawn barbs every few turns because unhappiness. It's very annoying.
Thank you!

What maps is the largest/most suitable for 43 civs?
YNAEMP's giant earth.
The only problem is that YNAEMP is only partially compatible with Vox Populi, but by trying , retrying, reinstalling, and playing with the different options, I usually manage to launch a game that works. (though I've not tested with the last version of VP).
(Main problems are "game crash at map generation" and "no ressources are generated" or "no ressource except near capitals are generated")
The size of this map is so HUGE I'm sad I cannot put more than 20 City States.

Note that even if YNAEMP is not a multiplayer compatible mod, you can generate a map trough it in Single player, save the map as a custom map, and play on it in MP.

How does pagodas work? If I have for instance, 3 religions present in a city, do I then get 3 faith, 3 gold, 3 science and 3 culture?

The religion needs at least one follower.
You get 3 food, production, gold, faith, culture, science and golden age points for 3 religions.

Dear God. 250 Cities. Is that exaggeration (I assume it is)? If so, how many cities do you actually have? What social policies do you pick? How do you manage so many cities? What religion? How do you not die from unhappiness and science/culture costs?

250 cities divided 43 = 5,8 = 6
I can imagine, not annexing any conquered city is the solution. But how god damn long do you need to explore that map and what would happen if you explore it all with one scout? After Reaching Lvl 20 hes automatically upgrated to deathrobot? ;)

My suggestion: pick India, plant 15 cities, pick the belief ":c5science:/:c5culture: for every 8 foreign follower", autowin.
(My Pangäa Standard Map game has around 65 Civ cities and 10 CS, and with my 9 cities in the middle, ive converted 620 foreign population to my religion. Highest pressure so far: 1k ;) )

Hmm, in my last game, i conquest 1/2 of map and have 95 cities, Denmark take another half and has 110+ cities. Other remain civs become mine or Harald's vassals. Tried to get dom victory but Harald was too strong, he have enless waves of tanks, rocket art send to our border, it's really the hardest war i fought since played civ5. Finally need to give up and take scientist vic, i may lose if play a bit longer. Harald get tons of cul, prod, gold every turn :D.

Peaceful civs really hard to survive in my set up (deity mode). I usually lose those games. Always reroll if get civ like Venice,Polynesian or Shoshone :D

And my starting scout live till the end game with maybe about ~2k exp. :D

Playing on emperor, I really made a diplomatic successful game with that india. 4 of the remaining 6 AI nations voted for me as world congress host, even the vasall of someone :). And after the evil mongolia declared war on me, 2 of its neighbors declared war on him.
I think I will try the new beta with india on a huge pangäa map to check, how far I can go.
Any suggestions for number of civs/CS for that size and map type?

I've always played at max 22 civ 43 CS, but in late game, when in war, turns take quite long time to finish. It's fine with me because i can do my work at same time but for others, i think 12-15 civs with 20-25 CS is best choice.
And i recommend Quick turns mod if you haven't used yet, it save a lot of time.
