Quick Questions / Quick Answers

Is there a mod that lists Celtic beliefs separately in civilopedia? If no, would it be difficult to mod it? (I have close to zero modding experience)

Please clarify this to me.
Don't City Ruins provide an archaeological dig for an archaeologist? According to BNW it should be the case. Did VP remove this feature?

A chance for an antiquity site to pop up.

It would be nice to know what is the chance of it happening. It seems I never saw it happening in my games. Maybe I just didn't pay attention to it.

It's not 50%, but your map size determines the number of antiquity sites to be available and then it decides "potential" antiquity sites to spawn them there or not. It will never spawn on resource slots.

Does anyone know a way to "cheat" a specific promotion onto a unit once it is already in game? I know IGE can increase the level of a unit to unlock promotions, but I'm wondering if there is a way to add promotions to a unit to fix a bug I encountered with units being created without the right unique promotion being given.

Can I occupy a citadel in enemy territory? Do I get the defensive bonus? If I occupy it, do nearby friendly units still take damage?

You can put a unit on top of it, but you won't get defense and friendly units will still take damage. You should probably just pillage the citadel. The only way to occupy/take control is to captures whatever city it belongs to.

Or use your own Citadel to take it if it happens to be possible (yay Autocracy), which can be a nice Reverse card to pull.

I had a Diplomat in the Incan capital, but I couldn't buy their votes (there was no option for it in a trade deal). Friendship is needed? Or a bug? (I'll report it on github if so)

If it's a bug then maybe this one is also connected: I didn't have the option to vote in World Congress (and I wasn't sanctioned). Any ideas?

(I'm playing with 22 civs but it shouldn't be an issue, right?)

Are the different difficulty settings and their effects neatly posted anywhere in this forum or do I have to open a file to see?

I update this page, if applicable, every time there is a new version. You can also find it in the DifficultyMod.xml file in the CBP folder.

First issue: There should be a red tooltip explaining why if you mouse over "WORLD CONGRESS" in the trade screen.

Second issue: Did you sell your votes to another civ?

Where can I find the events code? In which file/s is it, I mean. Both general and civ-specific events.

I installed VP as a modpack. How does the difficulty work in MP? If all humans play on 5, the AI plays on 5 as well?

What can cause a city connection break? I mean... I'm not at war, nothing changed from one turn to the next one: the lighthouse is still there but, somehow, the connection was lost. Why? Is it a bug?

I even sold the lighthouse and build it again, just in case... Nothing, the connection is still broken.

You need a solid connection from your coastal city to the capital (or other cities via roads). It sends a dummy unit to the capital if possible and sees if the pathfinder can find its way back.
