Quick Questions / Quick Answers

Fairly new, do AI's actually capitulate peacefully (without conquest)? I sometimes see AI's randomly becoming vassals of other AI. If so, is it possible for a human player to make an AI your vassal without war as well?

You can disable it in the file "DiploAIOptions" in MODS/(1)Community Patch/Core Files/Core Changes

If you dont like it, obviously

Hi,
Is EUI for VP sometimes updated ?
If yes, where I can find the last version ? (The link is broken in the topic "How to install")
Thank you !

Thank you, but (because of my bad english ^^') it isn't really what I wanted to ask.
I wanted to know where I can find the "UI-bc1" folder that we have to put in the DLC folder, and if sometimes there is updates on it ?

Is there a config file in which you can modify how much WLTKD turns you get from each merchant pop/additional turns gained from placing towns? As it stands they are pretty pathetically weak so I'd like to fix that

EDIT: second question actually, does TwoKay food give -5% unhappiness modifiers per franchise or per individual office? Asking because I read someone saying that twokay gives unlimited unhappiness reduction

Does putting a unit inside a city increases happiness (outside of the Authority policy)?

Also, does maintenance of buildings hurts happiness? (through poverty)

No, poverty is just a bit higher than the other values for whatever reason so you pretty much always have more poverty than the other ones.

Is getting a unique unit from a military city state random, or supposed to be always?
Every Militaristic City-State has a unique unit that they'll give as their unit gift if you've researched the required tech and not obsoleted the unit. If you hover over the "Militaristic" trait when viewing the city-state it will tell you which.

No. (it used to when instead of Distress there was Crime based on City defense)

No. Building maintenance is calculated globally (just like Unit maintenance), not directly subtracted from the City.

I captured a holy city before I established my own religion. Is it intended that I can't found my own religion?

Defender of the Faith is +10% for melee units in own lands +10% vs civs that do not follow the same religion. So why does this Fusilier have +20%? He is in Russia territory :

Despite the description, it's probably implemented as 'in friendly territory' - having open borders would count.

If this is the reason, I'd suggest to replace "own lands" by "friendly territory" to avoid confusion :

Land Units received +10% Combat Strength vs Land Units in friendly territory, and an additional 10% versus Land Units of players that do not follow your Religion

This would be aligned with Goddess of Protection (+10 HP healed per turn in friendly territory) in terms of wording.

I would make a github report to change the wording
