Filthy Rome stole Red Fort from me 1 turn away and built it in bordering City State. I've never encountered such an evil plan before.
Ok I dont know if this is normal and its just a very lucky game for an AI or if there is something odd going on:
Huge "play the world extended" map, marathon speed, 20 civs and 40 CS. By turn ~180, we are all around classical era, maybe a couple just hit middle age...or so i thought, as a notification comes up saying Brazil just hit renaissance. I check on them, they only got 2 cities relatively close to each other. Both of them already at max border expansion, and while we are all dealing in spearmen and archers, Pedro is boasting an army of tercios and knights, the latters in small numbers only cuz he hadnt many horses available.
When its time to choose a trade route, It tells me brazil has discovered 29 more techs than me...!
In the meanwhile he's already dominant on all cultures, has all the monopolies on all the resources in his territory, and its the uncontested ally of 80% of the known CS, World congress leader, and best buddy of all civs, expecially those with whom he shares border, or is a neighboor anyway.
Its the first time ever I see a civ so ahead, Pedro litteraly lives in the future.
Sorry if this doesnt look very quick, Im not sure if its working as intended or nay, but im confused
N.B: with IGE i checked from their persective, and they got 2 science on all the many jungle tiles around both cities...but still, is this enough to put a civ 2 ages ahead of the entire world? Should I dump this game, as it seems pretty much doomed, as no one can compete towards any type of victory?

Does it make a difference where my global happiness lies in the range between 50 and 100 ? Any effects scaling with the degree of (un)happiness ?
Bad effects start with below 50, or with exactly 50 ?
Does a happiness of 100 have any positive effect ?
If the unhappiness within a particular city is higher than the happiness in this city, does this have any effect on this city ?
(I read several threads her about happiness, but they are years old and it seems the VP happiness system was changed from time to time ?)

Not entirely sure about that, but i think negative effects start below 50, 50 is neutral, and above 50 happiness gives Golden Age points, the more you have hapiness, more points you get

Below 50% global happiness your units suffer -10% combat strength, below 35% you have barbarians spawning in your territory, it's a big mess. Excess global happiness gets you golden age points.
Locally, negative happiness means slower pop growth and unit production, positive gives you bonuses to growth speed, scaling

If a Civ has been conquered by two other Civs and its territory split in half (5 cities for one Civ and 5 cities for another Civ), then who will get additional delegate from City State embassies that belong to conquered Civ?
Example: Brazil has an Embassy in 2 City State. After some time Rome and France conquer Brazil and get 5 cities each. Who will get additional delegates?

only move faster. quite frankly the "move faster" isn't really a benefit, it just kind of "is",
It just translates to shorter duration of the trade route by like 1-2 turns since if your trade unit is done with its trade midway it still has to return to your city.
I don't agree with this. I don't think speeding up the trade unit really has any major impact trade durations. I think you might see it shave a turn or two in some niche scenarios, but wierdly might even increase the duration by a turn in two in some other niche scenarios
