Anyone know which files I need to edit to influence/change CS spawn rate? (for example I want more militaristic CS on my maps)
 
Does anyone know what "Relgion present" means for the Taj Mahal-- Does that mean actual followers of religions in the city or just any type of religious pressure built up in the city, that has not have yet lead to an actual follower. I assume it means an acutal follower but most religious things like pagoda state actual followers so since it says just present - I'm curious ?
 
Also I think the building's reimbursement scale with game speed, in addition to its base cost scaling with game speed.
Meaning a building that cost 200 in standard (and being reimbursed 200) cost 300 in epic,and is being reimbursed 450.

Anyone else noticing something like that ?
Yes this is true. I built the Statue of Zeus in a city that already had a barracks and was reimbursed 620 hammers, which is twice the production cost.
 
Hi,

Is there a post that explains the new espionage system? I was supposed to have 4 spies but all I see is this in the espionage overview and couldn't figure out how to use the spies.

Lua.log should have a runtime error.
 
Yeah you have some issue with the installation of mods or otherwise.
Check database log first and go from there.
I'm just a casual player and very illiterate on these log things. I deleted and reloaded the mod.exe however it did not change. I attached the whole log folder. I highly appreciate and pray for an ancient ruin on your next game if you spare some to check and let me know if there is a way to fix the save or at least for the next saves. Thank you very much.

Ok good so just to confirm, you downloaded the installer exe and ran that.
You are not using -- and have never used -- the modpack option (this is more technical).

So what you need to do is 1) open civ and then 2) load your mods.
When you do 1) it creates some of these logs, but they are for the base game -- this looks like what you attached because its missing some VP logs (everything is fairly empty)
Then 2) creates the new logs for VP.

Could you also list your mods and their versions (or take a picture)
 
Solved it!!

As you suggested I checked the Lua.log and saw that Civ Names by Policies (v 8) mod create a runtime error. I shutdown it and voila :) Thank you very much for your help. May the ancient ruins be with you! :)

IIRC the aztec UA should trigger (giving you a golden age) when you independently declare war on city states and then conquer them?
 
I think you are confusing Rome and Aztec. I intend to make Rome’s ability eliminations only. All eliminations are wins, but not all wins are eliminations.

So is Aztec's UA meant to proc on CS conquest ? That would definitely be a buff to an already strong Civ.
 
I am playing on 4.11 and eliminated city states both when they joined as allies of a civ I was warring and when I declared on them in isolation, didnt trigger golden ages in either scenario
