Quot Capita: Majesty

Down loading now. Gonna be a few (impressive file size kiddo :D) before I can test drive and see what's under the hood. Will let you know sometime soon. Looking forward to playing the Atlanteans, should be fun.

Oh, and if your interested SOG, I did the write up for the Apache in Dac's thread, take a gander and let me know what you think please. You may be able to use/update them for your next release .

Question SOG. Is it Custom Game only?. I chose Custom Scenario on my first outing (was curious about the Earth map) and had some issues. So I just want to be clear that CG is the only option that is available without issues.. SS's below for the CS.

Got an exception, and then the pedia says I can only have 3 Druids, yet 4 showed up in my city. Fortuneately, The game is sufficiantly still early enough for me to just quit and go to a Custom Game. Let me know please, and loving the new civs and goodies.. Oh, and was there another leader for Atlantis besides just the one?

Edit:Found the culprit. Appears to be a problem with the Druidic religeion. Started a custom game, then went into religious advisor. There is a pink blob there for Druidic, as opposed to the normal button for it. You may need to double check that at some point (no Atlantean druids? bummer. That's ok, Zeus and Co. like me just as much :D).

Oh, and kudos for your barbs.... Naga ate my scout, and dark dragon toasted a city ( I love raging barbs.. Maybe :crazyeye:), and my canoe "mysteriously vanished".... Hmnn, may need to sacrifice some bulls to Posidon... :goodjob:.

 Yeah right now its custom game only. Sorry if I wasn't as clear as I could be :(

The world maps were designed with Avain's old mod in mind so they have game data, civs and such that aren't in my mod. I should probably remove them for now...

No worries. As I said, it was still early game, so no biggy. Still having fun with the new game I started. Nice job on the map textures and all the other "fluffy stuff" :king:.

Did you get a chance to look at the Apache write up? Just curious

I will look at that right now actually.

I'm glad you like the little cosmetic stuff like the terrain or the naga. Thought the mythic unit lineup wasn't complete without some snakemen. :)

Sweet.

Heh, Medusae or Minataurs would be epic :mischief:.

I really like the new version ,i really like the new civ

However I have a suggestion:could you reduce turns for changing civic?imo there is too much anarchies

Anarchies are speed dependant. For example, on odessy, my base anarchy time is 4 turns for just 1 civic change. Considering the speed is 2000+ turns, Anarchy time seems quite reasonable. Not to mention certain wonders :mischief:.

Since we're forming up a que for the complaint department Kiddo ( :D), I thought I would be nice enough and stand in line..

1) View attachment 375549 Seems the top section of the city grid has been reduced dramatically. I was barely able to have enough room to click on the square to prioritize my workers. This is only in a few cities though, not all. Definitely odd though.

2) View attachment 375550 I teched Biology, and all the graineries from my cities disappeared.. Except for in my Cap and 2nd city. I had to rebuild all the others. Doesn't really make sense for them to poof when Bio hits.. At least I didn't read about it in the pedia :crazyeye:.

3) View attachment 375551 Pink blobs. Were you in a hurry and left your pink... er, lightish red color tool tip on ?

4) View attachment 375552 View attachment 375553 Ok, this one I gotta admit actually irritated me. Try to click on a unit, only to have another unit (one usually based in a city) activate instead of the unit you want to use. Eminently frustrating, especially when there is a barb stack nearby. Again though, it only happens to outlying units/cities, not my core cities. I've never encountered this before, so I have no clue as to cause.

5) View attachment 375554 Ok, blatant AI cheating caught live on Cops... Er, screen shot . Pedia says coastal, my own unit is only coastal, yet Spanky here can go ocean.... Sneaky.

Don't get me wrong SOG, I'm really loving the new rev. And I'll be happy to do one of my (in)famous write ups sometime soon. The minor stuff is no biggy for me. But the unit (UI?) mis-click is a real PITA .

I like the soundtrack.

Perhaps I could help fill in the Industrial Era of the soundtrack. I have some music that might just work.

You might want to consider spinning off the soundtrack into a separate download in order to keep the mod from getting too large.

I think the problems stem from the Atlantian Warpriest unit. I may have to change the graphic to something else. I was running into those same problems when at least one of them was built.

Kingpin: I'm glad you like the soundtrack, I put a lot of time into it and it means a lot to hear your kind words..thankyou.

Well, okie dokie then.

Soooo, about issues 1,2,3, and 5? :mischief:

Agree with KIngpin as well. The music is "bangin' Dawg (according to my 14yr old), and I wouldn't mind it through out all era's.

The pink thing is because of modular loading. Any button that is for something modular shows up that way(would take way too much work to de-modularize everything at this point)

The other issues I don't know, I've never run into them personally :(

Well, Poop Nuggets

And now, an important safety tip from your friendly Old Dragon:

Just a friendly FYI to all players of this new rev. If your playing MON diff or above, and have RB checked, be prepared to have quite a few AI's spanked into oblivion. I'm on turn 72 and 8 civ's have been smoked due to barb angst ( 2 of the civs were AGG, go figure). Keep at least 2 units at home until you can at least tech a decent def unit. We now return you to your Civving Channels .

Neanderthals don't like modern man and aren't afraid to prove that beating them IS in fact so easy a caveman can do it.

If you want an extreme challenge turn on Raging Barbs.

I fixed the issue with the Atlantean Orichalcum Warpriest btw.

Drak you have any info on the Naacal/Mu by the way? Also any other legendary civilizations I haven't mentioned yet? If its not to much trouble of coarse.

I usually play with RB checked (even after a dragon ate one of my cities, heh).

Naacal and mu.. Gonna take me a couple of days.

Legendary Civs? quite a few actually. I'll post some tommorow after I get some sleep (addicictive mod :D).

What do I need to do in order to fix the War Priest?

Hi guys i like this game, but there are a bug i think, that make this impossibile to continue a game, i mean, when i playing, there are some period that when i end the turn, the game start to be in LOOP loading waiting for other player to end their turn, but i waited like one hours and nothing happens, and this happen always in everygame i play! So someone here know how to resolve this issue?
I tried to resolve this issue by trying another route, like doing another research instead of the one before, or costructing another wonder or something else... Doing it its like that i can continue the game, but its really frustrating so, hope that someone here can help me to resolve this problems!

A little more details would be helpful dan83m, I.E. what era where you in, game settings (and did you remember the custom settings that SOG requires in order for the mod to work?), screen shots, etc. Or even post your save so it can be looked at.

I've ran through two games so far on odessy(seems to be the best speed for this mod) with the required game settings enabled, and no problems. Well, other than what I've posted so far(still exploring the mod). If you go into your vic conditions screen (the little fist at the top of your screen) and then click on the settings tab, you can take a look and see if you accidently boo boo'd.

On a personal side note, I really miss not having the REV active .
