Quot Capita: Majesty

Airships are abit too easy to build right now, I agree. I'm going to have them require a factory(like the steam tank). That should help. But I wanted that period to have the option of going Steampunk, which is why those units are there. Remember if a civ has the ability to, they can upgrade Cavalry to Steam Tanks.

Perhaps we could limit the Airship and the Land Ironclad in the same way Battle Tanks are limited to 6 units only. Airships could also be restricted to coastal waters.

After my absense I've decided to return and work on the mod. There are ideas still not implemented, such as the legendary civilizations that aren't yet in the game. I'm also keeping an eye on Bakuel's work. If anyone has requests for the mod I'd be happy to listen.

Gratz on returning to the mod Kiddo, always been one of my personal fav's. You doing a clean up and checking under the hood :D?

Nothing specific. I was merely wondering.

Doing some polishing of the mod currently. I very much like the idea of more of the legendary/mythical civilizations, but I think the number of existing civilizations is good enough as is.

Anyway does anyone have any ideas regarding units? Does the mod handle historical accuracy during historical time periods well enough?

Fixed a problem with the steam version, all files are now non-fpk, so it should work better for everyone.

Wow, I kinda figured this mod would be dead, glad you're still working on it. If I recall correctly, I had a real problem with graphics glitches and crashing when I tried this mod before, and this update seemed to have fixed it! (too bad it takes an eternity to load) Thanks, I always wanted to play this one.

Hey, SoG, how's it going?

Pretty good how have you been Kingpin?

I've added the Irish(something I've wanted to do for awile), been pondering on adding the Etruscan civ as well, but thats still a maybe. I've looked threw existing civ's flavor art, and fixed and added where I needed. I've also updated the soundtrack. I apologize for taking so long to respond.

Not a problem,

I'm getting back into gaming a bit now. We bought a house almost a year ago now and have been adjusting to being owners rather than renters. It has left precious little time to chill and game. I just started a new games as the Romans so we'll see how that works out. I'm enjoying it as much as always.

I've been testing out the mod myself and I fixed some things to make it Steam comparable, like eliminating FPK files. I also found some coding linked to the Vijay(Tower of Victory wonder) that was crashing the game, I eliminated that coding, changed to wonder to something less exotic(sadly), but it fixed the crash. I'm working on making the Renaissance era something you can't just skip by getting a couple techs.

I also changed my mind about adding more civs and decided if I'm going to put out a new version might as well.

So I looked at what I could add that isn't already covered and have added the

-Irish
-Champa

Thinking of adding in the Etruscans. Once I'm sure things are all working alright, I will upload.

Any luck on fixing some AI civs having far more advanced techs than they should have?

Nice job kiddo. I'll take a look when I get some time of from work... Lol, hopefully.

Well guys, so first, hi!
Second: im having the black tiles problem with the mod too, like some people said here too, i dont have this problem with no other mod, i dont have the blacks tiles problem with c2c either, and i have a theory
So, the only things that can be seen is the rivers and forest, both things were the only textures that are not changed by the mod, what if the new terrain and textures are corrupted or not compatible with my pc? if thats the case, is some way to shut down the new textures and play with the normal Civ IV terrain? i want to see if thats the problem

That problem was actually the first I fixed in the new version, I don't have it up and ready to download yet, but it fixes black tiles.

Yeah all the civs now start with Prehistoric era techs.

Nice job kiddo. I'll take a look when I get some time of from work... Lol, hopefully.
