R.I.P. Lauren Bacall

American actress Lauren Bacall has died at the age of 89, according to reports.

Her Hollywood career spanned seven decades, with a memorable debut aged 19 opposite her future husband, Humphrey Bogart, in To Have and Have Not.

It's said they come in threes. First Robin, now her. I wonder who's next

Except he wasn't famous until he was killed. Besides, it's usually said about actors/singers.

I heard her explain how the "Bacall look" was created. In her acting debut, she was trembling so much she had to lower her head to keep the shaking from showing. That meant she had to look up in order to see the other actors. Men found the lowered chin and upturned eyes very appealing.

I loved her in everything she ever did.

Elaine Stritch died less than a month ago. Maybe Lauren Bacall is the third. Not sure how many people know who Elaine Stritch was outside of gay people though.
