I think CD had trouble installing the patch... or just didn't install it...

lurker's comment: Oh, you haven't played turnset yet. Then just install the lastest patch and play it now. If you will still have problems, reinstall Civ3.
You may swap with the next player in roster to keep it going, if you can't fix errors immediatly

It still isnt working. I reinstalled and everything. I pu tthe patch into conquests/saves, I loadded the game and it still says the same error.

Is it just the save that's not working, or can you not open the game at all?

If it's the former, it may have to do with my save I have Civ3Complete, so all patches are there. I haven't modded anything in my game either.

Ohh... sorry about my previous post. I thought you were talking about installing the gamesave.

CD, you have to install the patch. It is a program that updates the Civ files. Run it from wherever you saved it.

Your game isn't patched yet. Look at 1.00 number at the bottom of screen.
You should run patch program, not just put it into C3C folder.

Now it says the wrong cd rom is in, when Cquests is in there.

I've always wanted to play a succession game, but couldn't in the past due to the fact that I didn't have the 1.22 patch (my old internet connection was too darn slow to download it). I've beat several of the conquests on Monarch, but I've never played an epic game on Monarch, though....

Oh, and about your sig, that particular verse from Ironman by Ozzy goes, "Now the time is here for Ironman to spread fear, vengance from the grave, kills the people he once saved"
