having glasses isn't that bad...
although reading from bottom to top is.... I read that first as "I got diagnosed HIV positive today"
selective reading is possibly worse than dyslexia

Yeh, there are much worse things than glasses. If they bother you that much, can you get laser eye surgery, or contact lenses?

Some people can't wear contacts or get laser surgery.
I've been one of the lucky ones so far with being able to wear contacts. I hope I'm lucky enough to be eligable for surgery when I get a little older.
Glasses are great! You can do the dramatic removal.

My condolences Ansar. I refuse to wear glasses, so I've been wearing contacts for a few years, and I still hate them. I'm getting laser eye surgery as soon as I can...

Worst part is my vision isn't even that bad... I just can't read things far away without my contacts, so obviously driving without them is a no-go.

Yeah, I meet the minimum requirement for glasses, so I have to wear them.
Technically, though, I need them since I can't see the board very well from the back of the class. I prefer glasses to contacts though since it's not something literally on my body. The main problem that's bothering me is that I need visual aid. But thanks Gogf.

Also, I see that my old friend 'Correlation does not imply causation' has popped up again. Well, screw that! From now on, correlation always implies - nay, equals - causation. This will make life a lot easier and a lot less annoying.
