Random Rants 61

Mind you, that I have never done, as far as I can remember.

On average they're way coy about it. Perhaps unfortunately, the more level headed women trend more coy.... to an extent. Basically hella them could be loosely, or convinceably interested, and all flying below the radar.

I just learned to pick up these signs but am really bad on acting on them because they still require you do the heavy lifting.

I've never made out with anyone. All that saliva just repulses me.

There's only been one time I had to reject someone. I get rejected more often; and yes sometimes I need to be told more than once.

Minor rant compared to JK, but I'm trying to nap in the uni's queer lounge and there's loud construction noises in the next room. I would move but this room has the comfiest couches.

Basically hella them...

You what now?

Your uni has a lounge especially for queer people? Wouldn't that be awkward for people who aren't yet out?

I've never made out. The closest I got was a Valentines poem. Which then I forgot to label to whom I'm writing it. Then she went out with an older boy. Yay.

Valentine's Day poems should always be anonymous anyway. :)

Only reason I can think that would be awkward would be someone who's not out wanting to come in but not wanting to be seen. I was like that for a while before figuring out that no one cares.

And you were almost certainly right. :)

That probably's true in Australia, but in Bulgaria, where gay marriage is still illegal, and...well, gays aren't exactly looked at with the best eye, probably this won't happen any time soon.

Yeah, but it's at least actively discussed. Here? Say gay and you'll probably get stink-eye'd.

I don't remember a girl ever being interested in me. I've only made out with them while drunk.

First statement is more or less true for me, but not he second...

Gay marriage is illegal here too.

Ha! An issue where America ISN'T the least progressive country in the first world! USA! USA! We're not in last!

It would certainly be awkward for me: I have an unfailing instinct for comfy seatings, and an almost pathological inability to read notices telling me that the room I'm entering isn't for me.

So, there'd I'd be, relaxing in comfort, wondering why all this guys were giving me the glad eye.

First we spent four hours chatting (mostly at my place, because we passed nearby and I thought that would be better than just keep on walking aimlessly)

Man, if you invite someone of the opposite gender to your place...well...maybe don't do that, unless they know. Because that's already a wrong signal (IMHO).

EDIT: FML! She says she's too busy this week, but suggests next week.
Man, that'd be easier if she just said no.
Trying to set up a date since the 16th!

But whatever. Didn't have hope for sex this year anyways.

I invite female friends to my place all the time, and they don't think that means I want to orchestrate an orgy.
