Mulitquote by using the "multi" button right next to the quote button. Click all the posts you want to quote untill the last one. Which you just use the normal quote button... That should work.

I went with my wife and my parents to Nebraska for thanksgiving, where I have relatives (and where I went to high school, for that matter). The first leg of the trip (Fort Wayne to Des Moines) was hellish. Heavy rain/sleet almost the whole way; we left at 3:00 PM, and it had ben raining just as hard throughout the day while I was at work (and I had to work outside for most of it!).

So, we were traveling for about ten hours, it was wet, it was windy, it was cold, it was dark, most of the roads were bumpy, and we had the traffic to deal with as well. We did stop to eat along the way, getting some much-needed rest, but as soon as we were done it was back on he road. We reached Des Moines a bundle of nerves and I had trouble getting to sleep.

Fortuantely the next day was better; only three hours of driving, and the weather was clear and the roads good. Thanksgiving dinner was also good, as was seeing my relatives again. However, I've never been able to sleep well in my grandparents' house. Whether it's dust, or mold, or whatever, something in those spare bedrooms really sets off my allergies. I had to go back upstairs and sleep on the couch, after sneezing constantly for about five minutes after I got out of the bedroom. And I've got one more night to go yet.

There are some bright spots to the trip, however, but those go in the Raves thread, not here.

So the 10K or so words I wrote for my NaNo on my sister's computer, I will not be able to transfer to my own computer. Which means that I will have to get . . . creative, but I figure since I did it once, even though I cannot prove it, I will. Be . . . creative.

Actually, never mind, I got it. I am still getting . . . creative.

I just copied and pasted the entire text, all 38K words that I have, into the body of the email. So problem solved. Sort of.

(I always used email attachments before, but my sister's computer wouldn't let me attach a file to an email this time.)

My rant is that my little novel sucks. I need to work on it but since I passed 50K 6 days ago I pretty much lost all motivation.

My novel is even worse. I wrote a 2K word rant about how much I hate it, but I am counting that as part of the novel. Very post modern of me.

And I need to average 2500 words per day to finish, which i will do easily if I keep making rants within the text. Then it needs a massive overhaul. Which I didn't do for mine from last year.

Just think of it this way: You're telling the story from the narrator's point of view, and he's getting annoyed.

Not sure if this is a rant or a rave yet... But what thel hell lol...
I watched a movie with the sweetest girl today... At first it was good, kissed some and stuff then out of the blue she ignores me for the rest of the movie. Afterwards I asked her if anything was wrong, and she said no she was just tired and she's b----y when she's tired. So I'm not sure if she really was tired (in which case this probably belongs in the raves thread) or if she wa trying to send me some other message I don't get

God damn it, I've had this pair for FIVE DAYS and I've already tore my pants just below the zipper. Lost my balance some when trying to stand up and there it ripped.

What a week it's been (well not really, it could get worse by Friday) but as soon as I got home from getting humilatingly drunk in Derby (and not in the good way, like a I was last time I went- still, my fault, I know) I get back to realise the screen of my (4th, in 2 years) MP3 player is broken to such an extent that I have to guess which song is playing, and sort of fumble around the navigation section, again by guesswork, until I get the song I want- and now yet another set of headphones look set to about to break depite the amount of blu-tac and sellotape I try and fix it with...; my digibox is broken, taken the ariel signal with it so I can't even watch analogue TV- leading me to pick up today's Metro (that great free Newspaper available on public transport) that tells me vehemently that there was a fantastic line up there was on TV last night, and what what will continue into tonight in all probability

I seem to be constantly posting in as many places I can on the forum without talking total rubbish about something I don't understand, and I'm STILL on less than 200 posts despite being here for what feels like ages

The weather is awful on the only two days I failed to bring an umbrella to work- it doesn't look set to snow which would provide me with the perfect excuse for a day off... which is something I need to book so that one of these days I can travel all the way down to London to go through, what sounds like an excruitiating interrogation process to pick up a J1 visa so I can work in America for a couple of months so I'm not to waste my year out...




...and breathe- Sorry about that everyone, but that was REALLY theraputic, maybe I'll do it again sometime <answered by a desperate chorus of "NO!!!" from everyone else>
