Why does it suck Aronnax?

Well because

1) The new Christmas scheme is trying to kill me with sugarplum goodness
2) Christmas has become a selfish holiday of consumerism, TV-Charlie Brown Morals and horrible Christmas Movies while the original reason of the holiday has been sold for a new Xbox. In other words, it sucks because people are Prosituting Christmas.
3) It sucks because, even though I am agnostic, I think its sad non-christians and Christians put "Celebrating the Birth and legacy of Christ" as near equal, equal or inferior to decorations, shopping and morals that do not relate to it.
4) I am beginning to hate my family.

Christmas Sucks.

People in Japan celebrate Christmas despite the fact 97% of them are deemed "pagan" by most church groups. They related Christmas with funny hats, robots in santa gear, cake (kaaakeee) and as a reason to give and get presents. Once I ask "What about Christ?" and they replied "What about Christ?"

My Friend's 5 year old brother apparently demanded a Christmas tree and present from his mother despite the family having never celebrate it before. His reason for the demand? "Wo zai dian shi kan dao, hao piao lian! Wo ye yao!" Translation, "I saw it on TV and it was pretty! I want one."
