I suppose I'll rant.. may need an update: That guy 'my' girl was with was apparently an accident, she was drunk.. idk why she went along with it, anyway, she was very upset when I talked to her about it, as was I naturally, we saw each other that night, and the first thing she did was cry in my arms.. which things considered was a good thing??

anyway, RANT it went well and we were talking fine until this school week started up and some crap happened at school, no clue what, but she's barely talked to me at all since. Literally maybe a few words a day. Asked her why, no response, gave her space and no improvement, so finally I've asked her to just come to me and say something already. Maybe I should be more forceful. Either way, it sucks, since I don't know at all what's going on.

Noo, she was asked out over the phone when she was drunk. And she said yes. She felt horrible about that, I feel confused, but she never felt it was anything serious... once she was sober. Oh she broke up with him the night we hung out, which would be the day after I found out.
Now again I'm faced with some sort of drama as she won't talk to me, directly anyway, and I don't know why. Used to think she was worth it. Now questioning that. If only she'd say a damn thing!

Sorry, but it's a little confusing. Was she still technically his girlfriend (she broke up with him) while being your girlfriend?

Oh no, it's very confusing. She didn't want to label us because she felt it would ruin what we had (bad past relationships) which made the hurt of her accepting him that much worse. She claims to love me, and while we're not official it feels like we are, if that makes sense. So there was no real bf-gf thing going on, which is how this guy works in to the whole thing. It's... it's just stupid, I've been trying to work it out but then this week of ignoring me happened so bleh.

then it seems like you are within your power to convince her that things like these happen all the time when alcohol is involved, and that this is actually a fortunate outcome given the presence of alcohol in her body, since she could have done much worse

I told her that, in other words, but also conveyed my honest disappointment and my being pretty upset over it. She doesn't seem to realize she can tell me anything, despite me saying exactly that.

Ah well it hasn't been a week haha, it's merely been happening THIS week. monday through today, with a little response a day pretty much. Plus facebook, that accursed place. She first said she was feeling terrible, and everything was wrong. Didn't get anything else out of her until I asked if it had to do with that guy and she said that things with him were done since we had hung out. But considering how bad things are apparently I'm willing to give her time and space. It'd just be great to know WHY and the repeated times I've said I'm here for her seem to just be falling on deaf ears.

I remember seeing an article a few years ago saying that scientists did some research and discovered that as Earth rotates, it drags space-time along with it.

Does that mean Earth could also drag space-time along with it as it moves along in its orbit around the sun? If so, could it affect how fast we age over long periods of time?

What is the world record for the most lightning strikes/flashes in a single storm? (Counting both cloud-to-ground and cloud-to-cloud lightning.)

And what's the average for an average storm?
