My parents want me to get a job this summer -_-

Join the party. I've flirted with the idea a little bit to get some revenue going... but mainly, they keep nagging me about learning to drive.

I really hope a few thousand dollars fall out of the sky so that I can invest them in the stock market and thus get a mostly-stable income for my age...

Perhaps I could convince my parents to give me a little bit money every year to invest... I don't ask for much, after all. Maybe I should cash in those chips.

A kick, not a ban? Then Bill does not hate you at all:

• Getting kicked from fiftychat is (supposedly) a sign of affection
• Getting kicked doesn't really do anything since you can join right back in the chat
• Since it was last fall and Bill has probably kicked a million people since, the chances that he even remembers kicking you last fall are extremely low
• Approximately one thousand people get kicked from fiftychat each day

I mean, I always move my cursor to the left side of the screen, expecting to find the search box, yet only to realize it's at the top (the TOP? Who's brilliant idea was that?!? ).

I really hate the new wikipedia design. Other than what spryllino said, sometimes when you write somethign and click enter to search, it doesnt search jacksh- . It just loads the search page as if you searched for nothing.

This really is a small village.

I was telling a story at work about complaining about a mistake on a mailing list from a local newspaper group that left all the addresses visible in the to field and how I got an apology from the CEO.

Person 1 in the group - Was it such and such? He used to work in this department from around 95 to 02.
Person 2 - And he is my wife's cousin.
