I was being boosted about 20ft in the air to retrieve a volleyball from the top of a large hedge at a BBQ, man, that hedge was horrible my arms are completely on fire, coming out in a rash. Can't sleep.

oh man, that's harsh!

I feel your pain spiritually <3

The International Space Station is such a waste of money and will ultimately do little to help humanity's expansion. Ugh, the entire way that America is running its space program, from the pitiful funding to the myriad of worthless programs that do nothing but take pretty pictures, is just unbelievably wrong. Remember when we supposedly landed on the moon and then twenty or so years latter built the space shuttles? What the heck did we do next? Nothing, echk.

If that chick tells me one more time that Ive been selected to win one, Im going to throw the computer down a well.

Don't be so stupid. Have you actually got a well near you? ;)

Call me picky, but I just didn't want to see you drag your computer all the way out your house, and then realise you have no well to throw it down.

Stupid teacher kept my class back from recess to tell me the dangers of unmanage anger.

I want to strangle her

I just hate the 'efficiency' of the swiss army:

on friday we were bound to be dismissed home. Now before that we usually have to return all corps-material to the armory. Since we were on embassy guarding duty this year there was very little corps material to return (we basically just used our uniform and rifle which are both personal material).

so, for some reason our captain decided that we had to get up at 4.30 so that we can leave early as well (nevermind that the armory won't open up before 8 anyway). so we got up, to the calls of our officers to 'move it' (los, Herre, vorwärts), at 5.30 we were all standing outside at attention, everybody accounted for. Guess what came next: that's right: waiting. run to wait, wait to run.....I was literally doing nothing until 2pm, when we were finally discharched (not earlier than usual, of course). :aargh:

If it helps any, I'm pretty sure that's the army period, not just the Swiss army. ;) I'd bet plenty of Caeser's legionaries grumbled in Roman taverns about similar situations more than two millennium ago.
