about bloody time

Man U love it. I tried talking to everyone about it but you weren't there

I fail to see how this is a rave....
Some people actually believe monarchies are a good thing.
It could just be an expression of respect for Her Majesty's longevity, and relief that we don't yet have to put up with Charles.

I've been watching the miniseries on Netflix about young Queen Elizabeth. Matt Smith plays Prince Philip.

Now there are two TV series in which he plays a jerk (yes, his version of Doctor Who is a jerk).

Oh no, Arakhor is a monarchist all right.
Hard to say. I'm tempted to buy another set of the exact same bedsheets so I always have one that's clean. But I'm not sure if it's worth it.
I think it's legal, even in Canada, to own sets of bedsheets that aren't exact copies of each other.

You can at least change the colours.

This set of bedsheets seems to match the decor and other colours in the room very well. Considering I usually suck at trying to match colours and fabrics, I figure I got it right and I should stop trying to pretend I know what I'm doing and just go with the same thing again

I hate the part where you go into a store and look at the hundreds possible colours. I don't like any of them and I can't picture any of them possibly working. So it takes a lot of time for me to decide what to use. I never leave a store with paint feeling confident about the colours I picked.

When I have to buy furniture I .. don't end up usually doing it for as long as I can. Curtains, same thing, when I bring a photo of my wall to see the colour and match it to stuff, it helps, but for example for my office I got these blinds, they're the completely wrong colour, they're way too light, it doesn't work at all, I have no idea what I was thinking. It's been years though, I have to get something new, but I don't want to because I'll probably get something that doesn't match again

So you see when I hit a grand slam like I did with the bedsheets, I write everything down and from that day on that's how bedsheets work

I foresee that one day you will write a book titled Bedsheets.

One unbalanced, Russophile, conspiracy theorist down . . .

It's just going to be 1 page long and it's going to have a picture of my bed in it
Photographed from many angles. We'll call it a picture book and rake in the millions, or else sell it as minimalist literature and also rake in the millions.

I finally won Campaign Trail as William Jennings Bryan! I'd tried like 20 times and even gave in and paid them $8 so I could access all of the versions of it. The trick turned out to be that New York is actually winnable, as long as you speak there and convince the Tammany Hall machine that you'll give them lots of patronage jobs. That allows you to overcome losing Iowa and Illinois by some narrow margin, which practically always happens and is really annoying.

I'm not sure if it was Hygro or Owen that suggested I go outside, but thanks whoever it was. I just got back from a clifftop ocean-side stroll with the dogs on a lovely day. I'm really happy and content. I didn't know I needed that until one of you suggested it. Fiftychat is awesome like that. :)

why are only losers like Owen, Hygro, and Lexicus on fifty but never cool guys like you when I'm there

I don't get a chance to go on very often because I don't have a lot of free time generally speaking.
