I had a great setup thanks to you. If you hadn't taken the brunt of the Byzantine's forces, I doubt the invasion would have run so smoothly.

Thanks all for a good game! The Abbasids are definitely the most straightforward Civ to play in this scenario (Long buildup, then war on the neighbors). As our game showed, the Byzantines are very unpleasant neighbors to be around, no matter how big your buildup is!

I'm back, and a little too late it seems GJ all, sorry I wasn't around more for this game, it won't happen again. A big thank you goes out to rubberjello for letting me play in a game set to a difficulty I have yet to beat on my own. Overall, the Abassids were a very different experiance compared to most of the other civs in this conquest, with the opportunity to settle an extremely large and rich empire. The VP location in Jerusalem didn't have as much signifigance as I figured it would, though. Thanks all.
