Thank you for the update, Reporter Lighthearter.
I have to concur with Ravus' concern: Did you forget to convert us to Christianity? How about revolting to Hereditary Rule and Theocracy? The latter doesn't function without a state religion, and we could use the extra experience. And did you get Horseback Riding in trade, as well?
The good news is that London looks content, and Iberia more improved. As for the "new" town of Amsterdam ... did you, um ... delete the river? Are you planning to put that back in?

It looks like the city popped up in a different location than I thought, so the artist bomb didn't work quite like I anticipated, but it still gave us several tiles, so that's good.
Personally, I am glad that we have Ravus-York back. Taking initiative when the enemy appears weak--I approve.
Research: Looks like Code of Laws is nearly done. I don't think that there are really any other military techs that we need right now (Feudalism is available, but it's quite pricey), so perhaps we can research Aesthetics and Literature in order to make an attempt to build the Great Library.
We'd better get a Trireme built to defeat the Roman one that was built. I really didn't expect them to build that right away in Ravus-York.
Arya, I do not understand this policy you have about not cultivating long-term friends? How could this help us? Friends are less likely to attack us, more willing to trade with us, and generally make us more secure. And there is nothing that prevents us from turning on our friends when it becomes convenient ....

A policy of isolation will hurt us in the end, I feel.
I could do with a more detailed map of the Italian peninsula, but I think we should keep Setia. Moving it
would secure the east, but the city can make use of those clams, which would go to waste otherwise. Not quite sure how close Rome is, though.
As for the war path, bypassing Antium would just be silly. Since it looks like it is weakly garrisoned, I'd say that we take Antium (taking care to be on the right side of the river under cover of forest with
plenty of siege), and work our way down Italy. I'd be curious to know what Russia wants to end the war, but that's only an issue if either Russia or Rome knows Feudalism. Is this the case? If it has not been discovered yet, we don't have to worry.
So, remember: Convert to Christianity, Hereditary Rule, and Theocracy! We want those extra experience points and extra happiness!
It looks like Currency has really helped. In the last screen shot, we have a large surplus. You may want to run the science slider higher and run a larger deficit. You can always set the slider to 0% for a few turns to build up more cash if you run out.
