Hey folks, have been playing AC since its release and last year got the Vista-compatible re-release (AC is still easily worth double the asking price).
One thing that has always bugged me about the Social Engineering system, though, is the undue bias against the Free Market. I can understand how it might negatively affect both Police and Planet, but does it really need to affect them so much? -3 Police, -5 Planet? Ridiculously unfair compared to the other economic options (Planned Economies, in real life, usually work out far worse than capitalist ones, even in the environmental sense).
Has anyone made a mod re-balancing this bias somewhat to make Free Market less of an onerous choice? If not, how would I mod the values myself? Thanks for any advice.
