Ever thought of adding rebel units? Ones that spawn if your country is too unstable or badly shaped so the game spawns your current tech rebel units that only target your countryside and cities.

Maybe if it could go far, separatist rebels that if they take the core cities of a dead nation, that nation respawn, most likely at war with the previous owner.

They used to exist in the mod alongside player collapses to core but were removed in favour of the current collapse system.
